Torchwood Texts (Includes Janto - Jack x Ianto)

9 - The highschool AU

Featuring: Jack and Ianto (as well as some people I added called Bella and Mae)
This is from my fanfic, that I'm in the middle of writing, called "The highschool AU". As you probably guessed, I'm not very creative with creating titles. You probably also guessed that it's about Jack and Ianto being in highschool and well... you probably can already guess what happens. It contains some texts so it technically still fits here. Anyway, I hope you enjoy it :)

Ianto had a secret. He was a 15 year old transguy but that wasn't his secret - everyone in school new about it and many people bullied him for it - he had had a crush on Jack Harkness for nearly a whole year. Jack was so handsome with his dark brown hair that turned almost blonde in the sunlight and soft, pink lips that he had found himself staring at before. That was his secret.

Ianto was so shy so he hardly talked to anyone, only his friends Bella and Mae. They were both older than him but only because his birthday was in August and their birthdays were in June and February. They always teased him for this, which made him so mad sometimes, but they were the only people he talked to and he knew they were joking so he easily forgave them. Well, not the only people he talked to, he also talked to Jack.

Jack was one of the cool kids. He wasn't on the school rugby team, football team or anything else the cool kids were in. This always confused Ianto because 'how is he one of the cool kids then?' Ianto had always thought. Apparently, he was part of the cool kids gang because he would do dangerous stunts on the weekend and "come back to life again after he died". Ianto didn't believe this. He believed that Jack was part of the cool kids gang because he never wore a blazer and would losely wear his tie around his neck. He was also very loud.

Ianto wasn't one of the cool kids. He also wasn't on the school rugby team, football team or anything else the cool kids were in. Instead, he did music and would spend his breaks and lunches in the music department, with his friends, playing the drums and laughing.

'I'm going to do it. We both have snapchat. Just text him, Ianto, why are you stalling? He's gay himself the worse he can do is call you a fucking idiot for asking him'. It's not like the people at school didn't call him this and worse eveyday. 'At least they don't know I'm bi' Ianto would think to himself. Especially, as he tried to calm himself down after another bottle filled with rocks had been thrown at him.

And he was right. Ianto did do it. Well...

Hey, Jack. Can you help me with my music homework? It's about musical theatre and I thought it would be more your style - Ianto
Sure! Want me to come round? - Jack

He had meant to ask Jack on a date but had instead chickened out and asked him about homework. Homework that Jack didn't even have. Homework that Ianto had already done. Now Jack wanted to come over. 'What am I suppose to do?' Ianto began to think.

Sure :) - Ianto

It was the only thing he could think to do.
