Persephone was Beautiful, Her brown hair like the soil we walk on. her green eyes like the leaves that flow in the motion of the wind. curves like mountains. she was beautiful, but no one knew of her beauty besides her mother Demeter. Her mother was a god, she wanted Persephone locked away from the world. Pure. but Persephone had bigger ideas.
"Mother please! I promise i won't tell anyone" Persephone says following close behind her mother.
"Persephone... You understand no one knows you exist? I have kept you a secret for so long. the men of this world only want your body" Demeter Explains.
"Mom, I'm 21 you can't just keep me here forever. please i want to live a normal Mortal life." she says grabbing her mothers arm. Persephone has been stuck here for years, under her moms constant super Vision and the nymphs. Every time a god like Zeus or one of the others visits she keeps her locked in the greenhouse. minutes, and hours spent to her self.
"You get 48 hours, to do whatever you want except. 1. Have sex 2. expose your identity 3. drugs 4. Alcohol" her mother says with a sigh and look of concern. she grabs her daughters hands and pulls her into a hug. "I love you, i just want you safe" she lets go of Persephone.
"Really?! Thank you mom! Thank you!" She jumps up in excitement, dancing around.
"yes, go pack a change of clothes." she says with a half smile....
Persephone has never had a good relationship with her mom, and she already knows her mom does not trust her and shes going to send people to watch Persephone. but at least she can leave right? her mom has been extra scared of letting Persephone leave ever since she visited the Fates. her mother heard something she does not like and refuses to tell her what.
"Ready? " her mother says standing before a portal to the human realm, this is the best option because Persephone can't use magic, shes tried for years. but every plant she touches dies. weird right? for being the Goddess of Spring.
"yes Mother" Persephone says standing there with a backpack, as if she was going to her first day of high school.
"I know its a lot.. but Instead of buying you a hotel. i got you an Apartment. only because i know security would be a lot better." she says with a shy smile, Persephone just rolled her eyes.
"I got a Nymph to go down and get you a Debit card. i deposited 10k into your account. its a way to get things around there" Persephone rolled her eyes. She has done research about the human world all her life. shes not stupid.
Her mother handed her the Card. hugged her. and sent her on her way
Her Apartment was Beautiful. She had a closet full of clothes, but they all were designed to cover her from head to toe. she sighed knowing she was going to go to the mall first thing. she puts on some shoes and grabs her apartment keys. her mother hired her a personal chaperone to drive her around, she gets into the Cadillac 2007 CTS her favorite car.
"take me to the mall please" she said with a smile as she looked over and saw a human\Plant... confused she just smiled bigger and looked forward.
"I'm Lenny" the driver says. with a half smile
"I'm-" She was cut off.
"Persephone, your mother told me." he said looking back at the road.
He dropped her off and handed her a phone. something her mother gave to him to give to her. to stay in contact with her mother and driver. she smiled and headed inside, she saw so many stores but one stuck out to her. beautiful dresses, and all types of clothes. she went right in. looking around amazed by the options. she was currently wearing a dress. but not one near as pretty as these ones. only took a minute for a cute boy to approach her. STAFF on his name tag. his name was Carter
