Previously on The Chance of a Lifetime...
So 'Starlite' finally got their biggest gig at the Rock Room, she finally shares the backstory to one of her original songs, and she finally saw her favorite drummer from 'Cinderella'.

Will 'Starlite' finally get their biggest break ever?
Will Camila and Fred end up together?

Camila's Pov.
When I opened the door to the dressing room, I saw not only my band but, also The Fred Coury and the guy he was sitting with earlier. I hope this is not a dream.

Camila: Hey Sebastian, I got your text, what's up?
Sebastian: I have no idea one second we were just chilling back here, then there was a knock at the door, I opened it, and they asked to see all of us.
Camila: Thanks Sebastian, it's an honor to meet you Mr. Coury, I'm a huge fan of Cinderella and Somme of your works as well.
Fred: It's a pleasure to finally meet you all as well, for those of you who don't know me I'm Fred Coury, former drummer of Cinderella, and this is Bruce Fairborn, sound engineer for my recording studio, Project 1, in Tennessee. <we shake hands and sit down> and please call me Fred no need to be formal.
Camila: It's nice to meet you Mr. Fairborn, I'm Camila Voight the lead singer, this is lead guitarist Sebastian Smythe, bassist Jeff Sterling, and our drummer Nick Duval otherwise known as 'Starlite'.
Fred: You guys were amazing on stage the way you captured the audiences' attention was like nothing I've ever seen before, your original songs are out of this world, your stage outfits are amazing, and the cover songs rocked it was like listening to the originals. I first heard about the band from Slash and he was right. So I would like to offer you all a record deal with project 1.
Camila: <all of us in shock> First of all thank you and uhm I have no idea what to say <I look to the others and we all nod in confirmation> we accept your offer <the boys celebrate while I stand up and shake hands with Fred as we hold eye contact for a minute making me blush then with Mr. Fairburn>
Fred: Perfect, why don't we meet up tomorrow around 1 o'clock and discuss the details.
Camila: That'd be perfect. <Fred was about to walk out when an idea popped in my head> hey Fred, how would you like to join us for a jam session with Myles Kennedy and Slash?
Fred: That would be awesome if... you would let me buy you a drink after we are done.
Camila: <chuckles, blushes, and puts a strand of hair behind her ear> I'd love that.
Fred: Perfect, I'll see you out there, bye. <smirks and winks at her>
Camila: Bye.

After I told Fred which songs we are doing for the jam session, he left and I told Jason to set up an extra set of drums for the jam session and he got the ready. I went back out to the bar area to finish watching Myles and Slash and drink those celebratory shots courtesy of Kevin Atwater. When I got back they were all still there waiting for me.

Dad: Everything okay kiddo?
Camila: Everything's all good Nick and Jeff were just arguing about something stupid and I settled them down.
Dad: Okay then. <we all grabbed our shots and raised them before drinking> I'd just like to say that you are going places kid, you went from those small clubs to the biggest club in Chicago, you've worked so hard since high school and look where you are now.
Camila: I'll drink to that.
All: Cheers!

We downed our shots and just in time because Myles and Slash just finished their set. I excused myself and claimed to go to the bathroom but, I went backstage to get ready for the jam session. I met up with the others and Fred just in time.

Myles: Alright we have a surprise for all of you tonight please welcome back to the stage STARLITE! <the crowd cheers>
Camila: <I give Myles a hug> Thank you for the intro Myles but we also have a very special guest joining us on stage for this jam session, please welcome to the stage the former drummer of Cinderella Mr. Fred Coury! <he comes out and sits behind the third set of drums>
Myles: Alright, in the name of Rock 'N Roll this is what Elvis started and what we're going to continue HIT IT!

After our last song we all stood together and bowed to the audience.

Myles: Thank you all for an amazing night at the Rock Room but, I think 'Starlite' has a very important announcement if I'm not mistaken.
Camila: Yes we do Myles. So after our set was done 'Starlite' has been given a record deal with Project 1 recording studios.

The crowd went wild (especially my family) after our jam session at my announcement. We went our separate ways but Fred was waiting for me. He led me to the bar area where he ordered a beer and I ordered my usual and we started talking. We talked about music, our lives, and just basic details about ourselves. After we had our drinks, he helped me pack up my stuff from the dressing room. It was getting late but I didn't want this night to end.

Camila: <chuckles> This has been the best night of my life, I don't think I could've asked for anything better.
Fred: Yeah I agree.
Camila: Well I better get going my dad's probably waiting for me, see ya tomorrow?
Fred: Yeah I'll see ya.

I was about to turn to leave my dressing room when I felt a hand grab my wrist, turn me around, and I feel a pair of lips connect with mine. I open my eyes to see that it was Fred who kissed me and I could feel butterflies fly in my stomach. I looked at him and kissed him back, his hands snaking around my waist while my hands tangle in his hair. We continued to make out for a few minutes when we pulled away for air catching our breath.

Camila: <catching her breath> Wow, that was the best first kiss I ever had.
Fred: That was your first kiss?! <Camila nods and blushes while her arms are still around Fred's neck> well how was it?
Camila: Like a pair of soft clouds.
Fred: <they both laugh> Well, how about we continue this back in my hotel room? <Camila looks at him with a look> <Fred chuckles> What?
Camila: I'm trying to see if you just want me for who I am or if you're just looking for a one night stand?
Fred: Well I'll tell you this, I'm not looking for a one night stand. I'm looking for someone who just wants to be with me for who I am not just for my money.
Camila: Me too. <Camila gives Fred a slow but passionate kiss>
Fred: So, is that a yes?
Camila: <whispers seductively in his ear> I thought that kiss answered your question.
Fred: <extends his hand for her to grab> Well, shall we?
Camila: Absolutely.

I texted my dad that I was going to be spending the night with the band and will he back sometime tomorrow. When they arrived back at Fred's hotel room, he pushed me against the door while kissing me roughly yet passionate, he took off my after-set outfit while I took off his shirt, he picked me up and led us towards the bed, he sat down, I straddled him, and well you know the rest ;).

After that night, 'Starlite' signed the record contract, we recorded our songs, wrote a few more originals, went out on tours to open up for a few bands like Poison, Motley Crue, and many others, I started dating Fred for two years, I moved in with him to Los Angeles on our six month anniversary, he proposed to me on our second anniversary with a candle light dinner and a walk on the beach. Six months after he proposed to me, we got married in Chicago with my family and his old band mates from Cinderella. After being married for a year, I finally got pregnant and we have a beautiful baby girl named after my half sister, Erin Alejandra Coury, and we lived a happy life as a family.
