The next morning, as Adonis tried as much as he could to annoy me by stealing most of my small chops and blaming it on the wind which was really dumb, I just to keep quiet because that isn't what he want, he wanted me to scream and lose my mind before I get to talk to Phil today. He's a devil.

"Get the hell out of my car." I told him off, stretching my arm to open the passenger seat door instead of him.

"Chill sis." He smirks at me, holding up his palms and glaring at the window.

"I'm going to be late if you don't -"

"Don't miss me too much, bye." He made his peace sign before exiting and I couldn't be more happier than this hour of the day.

When I got to school, I felt someone footsteps trailing behind me and when I turned, the person also turned but I would be a fool if I didn't find out who that person was.

"I know it's you Phil, stop wasting your time." I chuckled before I heard him sigh and finally stayed in my front with his fingers tucked into his front pants pocket other than his thumb that managed to stick out.

"How do you keep finding out it's me?"

Why won't I know it's you? Your scent, his aura, his everything so what should make me mistake his presence?

He suddenly pointed his hand to me, I looked down to it and my eyes widened, sighting the small handy cups in his hold.

"Protein shakes." He corked one eyebrow before I finally took it from him, muttering too much 'thanks'. You are the best. And I think I jumped on him, into a hug.

"Um, Vieve?" I heard Phil's calm voice before I got back to my feet, totally not giving any damn on the gazes on us..I was different, I was never like this, I was always self conscious when I'm at the centre of attention. I really loathe it but then, is this really me? The old Genevieve?

"You're acting like I just gave you a Rolls Royce."
Well Phil, I don't care if it's not a car, just a drink, I appreciate everything; little or much, you do in my life to keep me happy.

"Thank you."

"Please, that should be the last one." He pleads in a serious tone.

"Thank you." I smiled at him before poking his shoulder.

"What entered you this morning?" He shakes his head, a small smile forming as he rubs his spiky hair, that hair doesn't keep me sane. For God's sake, it is so…

A ringtone caught me handicapped which was coming from Phil's direction, "my first class is about to start."

He caught my other hand with his big palm all of a sudden taking me by surprise but I didn't utter any word to ruin anything. It reminds me of yesterday.. reminds me that I haven't apologized yet which is inevitable yet Phil acts like nothing happened.

"Uh…" I called for his attention when he unlocked his palm from mine. My chest didn't take it easy on me as I thought of how to put it in words.

"Do you have anything to say?" He watches me now with his full attention with his eyebrows furrowed like he was worrying.

"I am really sorry about yesterday, I didn't mean it that way…. I just- embarrassed, I felt embarrassed." I have no idea how to look him into his eyes because it was like he was glaring deep into my soul with those deep brown eyes breaking my vision.

"Embarrassed?" He almost screamed out of shock, I didn't know he was already holding me until I felt the tightness in his grip as he burned my eyes with his gaze, "that's the least thing you should've felt. It was not your fault, I'm gonna tell you the truth…" I took a breath not exhaling until he made out his words.
