"Ah, it's nice to see you finally joining us, Hongjoong." Namjoon playfully mocked as he saw Hongjoong running full speed towards the gate.
"Sorry! I was um- learning things!" Hongjoong cruised at himself as the lamest resume possible left his lips.
"Yeah, learning how to be a sissy." Jason snarled.
"Oh, shut up! Jason, you already got cleaning duty for a week; want to make it another one?" His twin sister, Jen, spoke.
"Shut up, Jen!"
"Both of you, knock it off, especially you, Jason." Namjoon intervened.
The twins side-eyed each other and went back to looking towards the front.
"But Hongjoong, seeing you're very late, how about you go in first? Show us how it is done." Namjoon smirked.
Hongjoong stood in confusion. He didn't know what he was supposed to do.
"Um, what am I supposed to do?" He nearly asks.
Namjoon just shrugs. "If you were here earlier, you would have known. Now get in there and don't die. The rest of you, follow me to the stands."
The group began to follow Namjoon up to the bleachers, leaving confused Hongjoong by himself by the main gates.
"You are gonna go in there and fight the dragon by yourself. Don't worry, kid, it's chained up." One of the guards of the gates said.
"Thank you," Hongjoong said, grabbing a shield and placing the dagger he-
''Where did the dagger go?'' He asked himself, feeling his pocket to reveal nothing but an eel.
'This might come in handy, so let's not throw this away.' Hongjoong thought and left the smelly eel in his pocket.
He grabbed the weapon of his choice, a shoge.
It was a simple blade connected to a chain. The boy liked it because you could attack from a distance and bring your weapon back.
"You ready, kid?" The guard asked, and Hongjoong smiled nervously.
"No." That was all he said before going into the arena.

"Alright, Hongjoong, your whole job is to try and kill the beast without dying. Got it?" Namjoon spoke from the stands.
'Easy for you to say...' Hongjoong grumbled to himself.
He was now standing in front of the cell with the same two dragons from before.
Namjoon nodded towards the guards, and they slowly began to raise the cell doors.
Hongjoong told himself he would be alright and it was best to stay calm, but logic was not working with him.
His mind told him to run away and take Star with him...maybe his friends too.
The Nadder came out first, with the Monstrous Nightmare shortly behind it.
The two dragons spotted Hongjoong and ray directly for him, roaring louder than ever.
Hongjoong steadied his stance and ran forwards as well.
Using whatever he could, he dodged each tail attack (He was more aware that they use their tails to attack thanks to Star) and used the chain side of his weapon to trap their feet.
He was doing good. With the training, he remembered how quick he was to be on his feet and trap the Monstrous Nightmare, but the Nadder was still not trapped. The fiery breath from the two was not helping either.
