Another person's POV

While Ming was making the lives of the company people, miserable, Mark was getting frustrated by the mixed signals.

"I'm capable of doing this by myself..."

Mark glared at them and almost yelled those words. In response, he stepped back and looked at Forth first for a while, before glancing at Mark.

"I was just trying to..."

An angry and irritated Mark walked away from there before Phana could explain himself. To comfort Phana, Forth walks closer and pats his shoulder. Forth pulled him into a hug. He held Forth tightly. Forth returned it with the same strength.

"I wasn't trying to make him angry. I just thought it would be great if I could help him to get a glass of water. I didn't think it would make him mad."

Phana said with tears threatening to spill from his eyes. Forth just let him pour his heart out. When everything was going fine then what just happened to Mark all of a sudden?

"Pha... maybe All this taking a toll on Mark's mental health..."

Forth tried to rationalize the sudden breakdown of Mark. Phana looked at him and just nodded his head in reply. He tried to see both sides of the coin. He thought maybe what Forth was telling could be true. he saw those glimpses of fondness and love for them in Mark's eyes. He smiled and felt that nothing could affect him when forth was here with him holding his back. He wanted Mark to feel all this love too and be comfortable sharing his worries with them too.

"Wait a second....did something happen before this...?"

Forth asked him. He shook his head but then he remembered hearing Mark on a call with someone. He doesn't sound much happy from the words that came out of the mouth of the person in the line.

"He did talk with someone but I didn't hear what he was talking about..."

Phana replied. Are they overthinking or was there something Mark hiding...?

Meanwhile.....

"Why is there so much money transferred to our Mom's company?"

Ming asked with a frown on his face. Luke seemed a bit hesitant when the question surfaced by Ming but he had to answer it otherwise his life would gonna end like a mere piece of chess in a game that had no use.

"Boss was funding her new project since last year."

Ming nodded his head but didn't look much convinced by the answer he got from luke, after all, he never heard anything about any project from his mother which would cost this much amount of funding. There must be something going on around the company that he couldn't guess but surely knew his mother might help him in guessing.

"Luke who is the CEO of this company until Mark gets well enough to get back to work?"

Ming asked him sarcastically. Luke looked at Ming before answering his question with utter fear in his eyes.

"You, Sir..."

"Which means?"

Ming asked him again. luke looked at him nervously. Ming could be the deadliest version of Daichapanya.

"I have to put my loyalties for you."

Ming gives him a smirk before tearing apart the check signed by Mark for Mae's project. Luke could smell the upcoming drama in the company.
