'I was thinking about it, but nevermind'

Those same words kept replaying in my mind like a broken radio. It has been a week since we last saw eachother and I still don't get what he was trying to say.

He was thinking about it? About what? Liking me? Me? What was he thinking about? And why would he say nevermind? Kasi nagaway kami? I mean, I wouldn't consider it as a 'fight' but we kinda argued a little.

I sighed heavily before shaking my head, trying to drown those thoughts. I'm sitting in front of the balcony of my room. I've been twirling the same cigarette on my fingers for about thirty minutes now.

If he meant about him thinking about liking me...then that means I have a chance right?

Bakit naman kasi niya 'yon sasabihin sa akin ng gano'n gano'n lang? There's literally no context on that statement! Like zero context!

I should've really asked him, I really should've. That same sentence has been circulating my mind for over a week and it's driving me insane.

I grunted in annoyance before placing the cigarette in between my lips and then lighting it. My feet were crossed on the cement railings of the balcony, I'm trying to relax and enjoy nature but I'm doing the complete opposite.

Humithit ako doon bago ko tinangal sa bibig ko gamit ang hintuturo at hinlalato ko para ibuga ang usok sa hangin.

I held my phone using my free hand to check my instagram. I was scrolling for a bit before I decided to post a story of the scenery in front of me.

It consisted of our glistening pool with the man made waterfall on the side and the beautiful blue sky. Our greenhouse was also seen from a distant.

Inistory ko 'yon at nagcaption ng 'got this relaxing view in front of me but can't even make myself relax lol'

Bumuntong hininga ako nang mapost 'yon at nagscroll pa nang makita ko ang isang post ni Kylo. It was a post of him endorsing a brand.

My eyes widened when a thought popped in my mind.

Right!

Kylo is friends with Ali!

I should ask him!

It's a good thing we follow eachother so I quickly slid into his dms to ask for Ali's number.

me: do you know Ali's number?

Siguro nagtagal ang message ko ng mga tatlong minuto hanggang sa nagreply na siya.

kylopez: wow! of course, gotchu pare Hahaha

Kumunot ang nuo ko sa 'hahaha' message niya. He sent his number so I quickly copied it and texted Ali.

Ako:
Hi, this is my number -Amore

Pagkatapos ko 'yon isend ay pinatay ko na ang cellphone at naghintay ng reply habang naninigarilyo.

Melanie, along Percy commented on my post. It notified and I thought it was Ali's reply but it was just them.

_melanieee: hoy cno kamomol mo last week >:)

Umiling lang ako at inupos na ang sigarilyo.

me: imagination mo lang yun

_melanieee: sus sana all!

And then I checked Percy's chat.

prcy.vlacs: ganda ng pool! baka naman :)

me: k next week

Four hours went by and still no reply from Ali. The first number Yaya Sylvia gave to me, he did not reply so I assumed it wasn't his. This number from Kylo, he still didn't reply.
