Sunday came and I had to attend the birthday party celebration of my uncle, Tito Carlitos Echavez. He's holding a big party inside their mansion and I had no choice but to attend since I have to represent the name Romualdez.

It was already seven pm when I finished grooming myself. I'm wearing one of the few dresses in women rosario's resort collection. It's a long floor length black and white silk dress with a heart shaped sleeveless tube. I paired it with my vivienne westwood melissa skyscraper pearl black heels.

For accessories, I wore the woman van cleef and arpels eighteen karat gold black earrings. I then put on the vivienne westwood mini bas relief pearl choker that had the brand as pendant. I finished the look with my black vivienne westwood emma soft leather top handle bag. I curled the ends of my hair and clipped some hair behind with a white bow.

I took my phone and went downstairs to leave the mansion.

I parked my car outside when I arrived.

I'm so nervous, I really hate socializing. It makes me feel sick.

I gave my invitation to the guards before I entered. There were already a lot of people inside, some are talking in groups while some are busy drinking wine.

Napalunok ako sa komosyon at tuluyan nang naglakad papasok. I saw Tita Vanessa in a distant, she quickly ran towards me to greet me.

"Amore! Good thing you came, come here darling" She held my shoulders after giving me a hug.

My mother and Tita Vanessa are siblings, they own my Grandfather's empire which dated back in the 18's.

Our ancestors were already rich before they came to the philippines. We we're descendants from Spain and as time passed, we finally settled here in the Philippines. Tarlac City was our hometown, we own half of the lands there, majority of our business also came from there. We just branched out in different parts of the Philippines, we also have businesses in other countries too that's why mommy's gone.

"This is Amore? Wow!" A business man who looks thrice my age complimented.

I was disgusted but I kept my cool. "I know right? She's grown to be such a wonderful lady" Dagdag ni Tita Vanessa.

"I heard you moved to La salle last minute? Sabagay, all of your families are lasallian" Another old man chuckled.

"That's why we we're quite disappointed when my daughter Charlotte didn't make the cut. It's a shame, I tried pulling strings but they just won't accept her" Napangisi ako dahil doon.

"How's college life, Amore?" Tanong pa ng isa.

"It's going fine" I shrugged.

"If it's okay, I'll just excuse myself" Tumango sila habang ako at lumabas uli para kunin ang box. It was wrapped in gold paper with a little black bow on top.

I saw him socializing along with his two sons, Niko Echavez and Leon Echavez.

"Happy Birthday, Tito" I plastered a fake smile before handing him his gift.
