"The results of Examination and the top 100 students who got high grades are already posted on the central bulletin board."
Crowd of students gathered around the said bulletin board where the printed results are pinned, looking for their names, and hoping that they passed the exam.
You're standing at the back of the crowd, didn't want to join the swarm of students since you know to yourself and you're confident that you got a good grades and you passed.
You glanced at your poindexter looking cousin who's head was hanging low. He has a very low expectations and not expecting to atleast pass the exam.
"Hey you good?" You asked him but he just remained silent. "Cheer up, I'm not gonna be mad when you failed after all the time we used for studying and preparing. I saw how determined, willing, and show all your effort studying. I know that you did your best after all." You cheered him up. "No, I care about what my mom will feel again..."
You smiled at him, such a Mama's boy and It's cute.
After the swarm of students becomes few, you approached the bulletin board and saw your name written in bold letters. You placed 2nd in the rank of Highest Students, you suspire in relief atleast your hardwork paid back but for him this was not enough. You placed 2nd again.
"Seems like I don't have any chance to beat the 1st." You mumbled looking at the Top 1 of the whole school, none other than the Student Council President.
"Oh, Ryusei got into Top 20?!" Baji shrieked reading the names of the student. You walk towards him to check if he reads the names correctly and you're surprise that he was actually telling the truth.
'How? I mean not to look down on Ryusei but He's always skipping classes and sleep on the rooftop. I can't even see him open a book or atleast study.'
"What the hell did he do to reach that rank?! He always slacks off or do shits outside while me trying my best to not sleep in classes and listen to our senseis?!" Your cousin spouts and continue looking for his name in the results.
You thought the same thing but also amazed at Ryusei, He is lowkey smart even though you often see him snoring at every corner of the school and he looks like he'll fucked up his grades.
"Guess who's gonna spend their whole summer in school" you sneered at Baji which he just glared at you
"Huh? Ba-ji-Kei-su-ke..." He reads slowly "is there other Baji Keisuke here in school?" He asked you and you just shrugged your shoulders. "So that means..." His lips started to stretch ear to ear. "I PASSED!" He jumps "I PASSED I PASSED!" He celebrated. You just smiled at him watching him that happy. "THANK YOU COUS' WITHOUT YOUR HELP, I'M NOT GONNA MAKE IT!" He hugged you tight and even spinned you around.
