"Well done, Mai"
You grunted in pain as you looked at the person who was standing in front of you, carrying a piece of metallic tube that she used to hit your head. Blood oozing from your severed head while you we're toleraring the stingy pain, you do hope that you can still survive tonight and convincing yourself that the hit was just nothing like being bumped into a wall or onto something. You saw how she picks up the revolver you were holding earlier, you're following her every movement using your eyes while trying to regain some strenght and energy. Calmly, saw her eyes shifted to yours, looking directly in her darkish orbs, a grin suddenly etched on your lips.
That startled her, that grin frightened her so she acted as fast as she could, while hands we're shaking, pointing the revolver directly at you.
"Oh Mai... I won't think twice to pull that trigger..." The Mayor advices while he was breathing heavily. Silence filled the room but it won't last long when you suddenly bursted into laughter that even frightened her more.
"Mai...I thought...we're friends..." you grunted but still grinning ear to ear while trying to push yourself up and sit. The gun is still pointed at you as she just watch you got up and push yourself backward to a wall where you can lean against to stop your head from bleeding and to gain some energy to get up.
"I'm friends with no one" she firmly said, standing still, following your movement with the gun. You smirked, "Oh I just thought...My bad..." you chuckled as you slowly reach for your pocket.
"Don't move or I'll pull this t-trigger..." her voice was shaking but you just hummed "Just do it, Mai." Tartaglia said convincing him to commit crime. You succesfully got the device inside your pocket. "I really thought we're friends since you already introduced me to your...brother..." you said and raised the voice recorder in your hand. Mai's eyes widened, gulped harder and side eyed the Mayor who was trying to gain strength from being injured.
