Chapter 3: Roommate

(Luz's POV)

I woke up to a door slamming shut I assumed it was my roommate but i really didn't want to bother them because they seemed mad, so I got up and thought maybe I should start unpacking my stuff.

*Small Time skip*

It took me an hour to unpack all my stuff, i was exhausted after that so I grabbed my phone and sat on the bed criss-cross looking through pinsta for about 5 minutes, until someone knocked on my door.

"Hold on I'm Coming"

I got off my bed and walked to the door opening it

"What you ne-"

I opened my eyes and saw the mint haired girl looking at me in shock

"YOU!" we both shouted

"What are you doing HERE" mint haired girl yelled

"This is MY dorm" luz

"It's MINE dorm to" mint haired girl

"I guess we're roommate's if we have the same dorm, anyway what do you want" luz

"Well before I new it was YOU, I was just going to ask if, you wanted me to make some food because I was going to make some lunch..."

"Um is the offer still on the table"

"Yeah I guess"

"I can help you, if you like"

"No I can do it by myself"

"Please"

"No"

"Please, please, please, please"

"Ugh fine just stop pestering me"

"Thank you"

"Annoying little otter" she whispered

I secretly giggle at what she called me.

*Small Time Skip*

After we ate I was gonna go back to my room to play on my phone
"hey I never got your name" I said before entering my room

"Amity, amity blight" she said not trying to make any eye contact with me

"I'm luz noceda" I responded with a smile trying to be nice then walked in my room plopping on my bed, pulling out my phone from my pocket.

(Amity's POV)

I was sitting on a chair in the kitchen looking at some pictures of kittens to pass the time, about maybe 10 minutes had passed I switched from looking at kitten pictures to looking through mewtube it was Saturday so everyone didn't have school today most people either just stayed in there dorms or th-

"AHHH" I heard luz 'I think that's her name" scream so I ran into her room to why.

When I ran in her room I saw a Tranchula, luz then noticed me and dashed behind me, I sighed and grabbed a cup from the kitchen then slowly placed it over the tarantula trapping it.

"Gosh you're so annoying"

"Heh sorry"

She walked over to the tarantula lifting up the glass cup letting it crawl up her arm and to her shoulder then back down to her hand
"huh I thought you were scared of it"

"not really it just surprised me that's all"
she got up then walked over to a her closet and got out a tranchula tank putting the tarantula in it the tank.

"So you just had that lieing around"

"Yeah, you never know"

"Whatever" I rolled my eyes and left

I walked out of her room going to mine, I then sat on my bed thinking about what to do tomorrow since today was almost over,

I started to think of luz's smile it was so wonderful and her eyes were just so beautiful-wait what am I saying I don't like her AT ALL, I'm straight... Right?

(Luz's POV)

I was looking at the tranchula until my phone buzzed in my pocket I took it out to see why it buzzed and it was my mom

"Hola mija how's it going"

I looked at the text then replied
"good, I have a kinda nice roommate 😅"
I looked back at the tranchula watching it crawl around it's new environment then my phone buzzed once again.

"Good to know, well I got to go bye mija" she texted

"Bye máma" I responded

*2 hours lataaar, y'all are gay*

I put my phone on the table next to my bed and walked over to my closet and put on my pajamas then climbed into my bed pulling the covers over me,

I tried to fall asleep but amity's hair was so colorful and her eyes were like gold then her smile just wow- hold on I don't have a crush on her.... Right
