"You deserve better" Steve whispered holding my face in his hands as I looked up at him tears spilling out my eyes."He's a good person I promise" I managed to croak out as I buried my head into his chest crying.
Steve said nothing but rubbed my back in comfort. We stood there for about ten minutes. The sound of his heartbeat calmed me down as he swayed us back and forth. I felt his chin resting on my head. I slowly looked up making him look down with a soft smile. I examined his busted lip and eyebrow slowly oozing a bit of blood. I frowned and reached up to brush his hair out of his face.
"It's okay y/n, I'm fine" he softly spoke giving me a reassuring smile.
"Let me help you" I said before taking his hand and dragging him upstairs to the bathroom.
I ordered him to sit on the counter as I looked through the cabinet for ointment and hydrogen peroxide. I took out a cotton ball before placing some of the liquid on top reaching it to his lips.
"This is going to sting" I warned him earning a nod before I slowly dabbed the product on his lip making him flinch. I cleaned up his eyebrow too and applied ointment on both wounds.
I then put away the rest of the stuff and sighed before looking back at him.
"You have to talk to him" The brunette boy spoke breaking the silence.
He was right. If I wanted things to work with Billy I have to talk to him. The thing with billy is he gets angry easily and maybe talking to him about it would help?
"You're right" I replied fiddling with the hem of my towel.
"I also have to put clothes on" I chuckled gesturing to my towel earning a snicker from Steve while he nodded his head.
I made my way to my room closing the door. I put my undergarments on before putting some jean shorts on and a cropped white tank top. I grabbed some low cut white socks putting them on. I then grabbed my skateboard and made my way downstairs and put my converse on and left out the door yelling goodbye to Steve.
I threw down my skateboard before hopping on skating to Billy's house. It didn't take me long before I saw his blue Camaro sitting in-front of his house with music blasting loudly.
I hopped off my skateboard and walked towards the door knocking on it. Suddenly the music stopped and then the door opened revealing the curly mullet headed boy sweating. I looked behind him and saw the weights in the back he was lifting. His face dropped when he saw me standing at his doorstep as he rested his hand above his head on the doorframe.
"What are you doing here?" He asked me looking down trying to look intimidating. I stood my ground and glared up at him.
"We need to talk" I stated crossing my arms over my chest.
"Talk about what" Billy sneered mockingly laughing at me.
"Talk about what the fuck you pulled earlier" I spat pushing my finger on his chest making him stumble back as I stepped forward in the house.
"That fucking toad had it coming!" Billy shouted before I put my finger to his mouth shushing him.
"You need to learn to control yourself" I said as I put my finger down.
"Stop acting like a little kid and start acting like a normal human being for once!" I shouted stomping my foot.
"I'm not ready" He sighed looking away.
"Not ready?" I questioned tilting my head in confusion.
"Not ready for what?" I asked again.
"For a relationship" he spoke still not looking at me.
"What a coincidence" I scoffed in disbelief.
"Right after you slept with me for the first time you up and leave like that was the only thing you wanted...what did I expect" I grunted poking the inside of my cheek with my tongue as he finally looked at me scrunching his face up in defense.
"That's not what it is at all" he protested.
"Yeah sure don't ever fucking talk to me ever again" I glared at him before turning around to leave but was stopped by a strong grip on my wrist turning me around.
"Who the fuck do you think you are?" Billy lowly said as our faces were inches apart.
"Let me go." I firmly stated attempting to jerk my hand away but miserably failed as he tightened his grip making me wince.
"I treat you right, you're not going to disrespect me y/n" He snapped yanking me closer.
"You call this treating me right? Grabbing me like I'm your property?" I retorted.
"I said you're mine didn't I" Billy spoke before dropping my wrist.
"Not anymore, you're not ready" I rolled my eyes in annoyance mocking him.
"That doesn't mean shit" He hissed backing me up against the door.
"Get the fuck out my face. I'm done with your bullshit" I said as I pushed him away.
"You think you're so perfect?" He huffed scrunching his face up once again.
"I don't just go around and tell people that you're my bitch! Seriously what is wrong with you!" I shouted fed up.
"I didn't mean it like that y/n, I would never call you that to offend you" he sighed as he pinched the bridge of his nose.
"Whatever I'll give you your space and you give me mine." I snorted before leaving out the door slamming it to cut him off of whatever he was going to say.
I grabbed my skateboard and quickly dropped it down and hopped on it as I heard the front door open.
I looked back and just saw billy standing there before he kicked at the ground yelling fuck while he watched me fade away.
I finally arrived at my house and ran in taking my shoes off after I closed the front door. I yelled for Steve and saw him pop up around the corner.
"How'd it go?" Steve hesitantly asked as he made his way to me.
"I'm done with him" I sighed as I crossed my arms with frustration .
"He's forever going to be that arrogant asshole" I spoke again making eye contact with him.
"I warned you y/l/n" Steve pointed his finger at me.
"Yeah I know whatever" I slouched my shoulders while I walked over to the couch plopping onto it.
"Well now what are you going to do" He asked sitting down next to me.
"Avoid him at all cost and try my best to keep him out my life" I shrugged grabbing the remote turning the TV on.
"You know you can't do that" Steve rolled his eyes grabbing a pillow putting it on his lap.
"Do you want me to stay away from him or not?" I began to grow aggravated.
"Yes I do" He sighed.
"Then let me deal with it my own way and just support me" I complained.
"It hasn't even been a day and we already broke up" I whined upset about the whole situation.
"He'll be back" He rolled his eyes hugging the pillow against his chest.
"I hate him" I shook my head as I glared at the TV. Do I really though?
