Chapter 17- Picnic date

"Be safe I don't want any mini Hargroves running around my house" she chuckled.

I squirmed in the passenger seat as my mothers words replayed in my head. Billy looked over and noticed how embarrassed I was due to my hot face.

"It's okay babe, sex is natural it's not like she disowned you for it" He snickered as he reached his hand over placing it on my thigh.

My face heated up even more as my eyes widened a bit looking up at him smacking his hand away while gasping.

"Asshole! That doesn't mean I want her to know my business!" I argued while crossing my arms as I looked out the window.

"She didn't hear much I'm sure, she probably just knows that we kiss and thought we were making out" He implied and shrugged his shoulders keeping his eyes on the road.

"You're right, I'm still embarrassed though" I groaned as I hid my face behind my hands while billy pulled into a parking lot at the local abandoned park that no one ever goes to anymore. He smiled over at me seeing me stressed then reached his hand up to stroke my hair.

"You're so cute" He said before pecking my lips.

"Don't go there with me Hargrove" I warned the man pointing my finger at him. He shot his hands up in defense smirking.

"Well then I think you're sexy" He winked reaching over to pick me up and sit me on his lap straddling the dirty blonde.

"And I think you've had enough" I purred in his ear before putting my finger under his chin slightly lifting it.

"I actually think I'm addicted and don't want to stop" he said while snaking his hands from my waist down to my ass giving it a slight squeeze making me shift earning a groan from him.

"I know you didn't bring me to a park to fuck" I raised my eyebrow as I opened the car door and climbed off of him.

"I was willing to make any necessary adjustments" He huffed getting out the car after me.

"Of course, I'm sure you were" I sarcastically replied rolling my eyes playfully.

He chuckled as he reached into the backseat and pulled out a basket and a blanket. He stood up and closed his door looking over at me smiling. He then walked over and put his hand on the small of my back leading us to the grassy area which was starting to become taller but was pretty enough for us to sit in.

I leaned on a tree and admired him as he set up the picnic. Billy then finally looked up and a small breeze flew by rustling his curly mullet a bit as he flashed me his famous smirk gesturing for me to go sit down.

I smiled as I walked over and kissed him on the lips before we sat down.

"Picnic date with Billy Hargrove" I spoke smiling and staring into his eyes as he stared back while stroking my hair.

"Picnic date with Y/n /Y/L/N" he copied me earning a giggle.

"Soo what did you pack?" I asked him as his eyes lit up before reaching over to the basket.

"I packed cake slices, sandwiches, and juice for you & beer for me" he smiled holding the basket on his lap as I snickered.

"What?" Billy asked laughing.

"Perfect" I whispered.

He pulled out all the food and drinks and we began to eat as we enjoyed the silence between us.

                              -Billy's pov-
She was practically glowing. Her eyes sparkled as she stared at the trees and lit up whenever a bird or a squirrel came by. Her giggle was music to my ears as she fed each passing animal and I was admired how easily fascinated this girl gets when she watched these small creatures eat.

Her hair moved with the wind and her eyelashes were so beautifully long I could count each one. God, what's wrong with me?

"Billy!" She'd snapped her fingers in front of my face.

"Huh?" I jolted from her sudden movements.

"You were zoning out" she looked at me concerned.

"I forgot my cigarettes in the car" I made an excuse.

"I'll go get them" she offered but I shook my head and pecked her lips before I got up.

My mind and heart was racing as I walked to the car. I don't know why all of a sudden I felt so childlike around her, she makes me feel safe and loved which was a very new feeling since my mother.

I reached my car and unlocked it and got my cigarettes out from the side door. As I walked back I took one out and lit it up.

"What do you want to do when you grow up" I asked him as I fell back and looked up at the clear blue sky.

"Hmm I'm not sure" he thought about it for awhile before he answered taking another hit from his cigarette.

"I know what I want to do" I said as I closed my eyes.

"What is that?" He asked as he laid down next to me.

"Get the fuck out of this town" I chuckled before opening my eyes again turning my head earning a laugh from him.

"Yeah me too" he smiled at me as our eyes locked.

"Would you run away with me?" He asked with a sparkle of hope in his eyes.
