Y/N is a know criminal throughout Teyvat, but they were especially active around Inazuma. They would often steal things from merchants and burn down buildings. They even tried to explode the statue of the Omnipresent god, but they miserably failed.

Now Y/N lurkes through Inazuma's shadows wanting to cause trouble. They passed a small stall on the docks of Ritou, and overheard a conversation between two locals.

-Have you heard? Apparently the Tenryou Comission has a new detective- said one.

-I have. What was his name again? Shikanoin... Heizou?- answered the second one.

-Even though he's been working for only weeks he's the best detective in Inazuma. People say it's because of his great intuition.- continued the first guy.

Best detective of Inazuma, huh? His intuition must be truly the best of the best. Y/N thought to themself.

They decided to go back to their little house in the mountains, tucked away from plain sight.

It took them a good 30 minutes to get there. They went inside and opened the kitchen cupboard to find nothing but a couple of semi-dry plates.

*sigh* -I guess I'll have to go hunting if I want to eat dinner-

Y/N picked up their sword (A/N change if wanted) made sure they're cryo vision is firmly clipped on they're ____ and exited the house.

They managed to get a decent amount of food and they were on their way back home when they heard footstep approaching. In an act of panic they hid behind some bushes. They peeked through a small gap between the leaves and branches and saw a short, crimson-haired boy, about 17-18 years old along with a member of the Tenryou police.

-Are you sure they're here, Mr Shikanoin?- the member of the police asked.

-Are you questioning my abilities, Haru?- questioned "Shikanoin"

-N -No sir, it just seems very quiet here!- "Haru" exclaimed.

-Exactly Haru, it's too quiet!- said "Shikanoin" looking at the bush Y/N was hiding in.

Y/N felt a chill run down their spine and quicky "stepped" back and sat down, back facing this "Shikanoin".

Mr. Shikanoin waved a hand in the air signaling "Haru" to go away. Of course, he complied and speed-walked away.

The boy took a step towards the very shocked and frightened Y/N, who was still behind the bush.

He pushed away some branches exposing Y/N.

A/N: I don't know heizou's real age but I'm making him 17-18 years old in this fanfic.

Also if I'm writing any of the names wrong please tell me. And if I refer to Y/N as she/her also tell me I will change it when I get the time.

Critisicm is allowed, I accept request, and this probably won't contain smut, bc idk how to write it, but that may change later on.
