"Guy! Sweetheart you have to get ready for practise!" Mrs Germaine announces walking into Guy's bedroom, waking me up. I'm a light sleeper. "Oh Delilah, I didn't know you stayed over."

"Yeah, sorry, it was kinda last minute and I was a little upset so I just went straight to bed." I inform her, guilty.

"Oh, its alright sweetheart." She smiles at me. "Do you want to talk about anything?" I shake my head. "Alright, well I'm here if you need me."

"Thank you."

"Of course. Now, do you mind waking up my son? Your coach called and wants the whole team down at the mall with their roller skate gear." Mrs Germaine states.

"Alright, we'll be down in fifteen." I smile and she nods before walking out. "Guy get up, I know your awake, man."

"Aw man!" Guy groans and rolls out of his bed and falls onto mine.

The whole team is skating around the mall trying to teach our new teammate how to skate. "Yo Fulton!" I turn around so I'm skating backwards to talk to him, "Whatever you do, don't go down the stairs in your skates, dude!"

"I'll try!" Fulton yells shakily.

All of a sudden, Fulton starts screaming so I look over my shoulder to see him struggling down the stairs. "He's so screwed!" I laugh, and turn back around to follow him.

I jump the stairs just as I see Fulton accidently push a lady into a water fountain. "I'm sorry!"

"Sorry about him, he's high as kite!" I tell her with a straight face when I skate past.

"Delilah!" Fulton complains and I laugh my head off.

"Hey, hey, stop complaining! I'm saving your ass here!" I giggle to myself as I catch up with him, grabbing his hand and pulling him along with me until we catch up with the rest of the team.

We finish up in the mall and we're all standing around in the parking lot waiting for our parents whilst Bombay shares a few words. "I'm proud of you guys! You've come along way and have expanded. So I'd like to officially welcome our new teammate, Fulton Reed!"

The team cheers and we all share bright smiles, at the same time a few of the parents turn up. "Alright team, next practise is tomorrow at the rink and we're gonna get our new jerseys!"

"Alright!" A few of us say, and split off to find their parents.

"Dee, you staying with me again tonight?" Guy asks, coming up to me.

"No Guy, Delilah's going home tonight." Bombay decides for me. "We need to talk."

"You had your chance asshole." I turn to Guy, "Yeah I'm staying with you."

"Cool." He smiles.

"Hey Dee, can I talk to you please?" I hear Charlie ask.

"Sure Char." I nod and walk over to him. "What's up?"

"Why are you so mean to your dad?" He asks.

I scoff a laugh, "Come on Char, you kno-"

He cuts me off, "He's trying, you know? He managed to get us fifteen thousand dollars and you just keep throwing it back in his face. So why are you being so ungrateful?"

"Ar- are you shitting me? Are you for real right now? I spent nine years of my life without a dad and then I finally get one and he ignores me for five more years! You might be able to just brush that under the carpet with fifteen grand is involved but I can't! So don't you dare try tell me how to talk to my father!" I scoff at him.
