It might have been unintentional, but after your recovery taking several weeks, Kid had managed to get you drunk enough to share his bed with you in another way than before, and by the gods, did that feel good. Kid taught you things about yourself you didn't know and he took full advantage of it. You had been feeling giddy and on cloud nine for the couple of days afterwards. It somehow showed you your feelings might be returned after all! Humming to yourself, you had packed the big plate with food for the crew as Kid had commanded them to work through lunch. Within minutes, you were walking through the corridor leading to the outside, balancing the plate on one hand as the other had soon found the doorknob to the last door. As the door swung open, you were greeted by the beautiful blue sky and animals soaring through the wind, yelling from crewmates and.. a blue and white mask. Killer's hand had snatched you away from the door and within seconds your smile faltered slightly. His hand held your side tightly, withholding you from any escape as he pressed closer with the rest of his body. "Killer, stop it!" You said, your voice mixed with happiness from before and slight fear of the male in front of you.

Killer's voice was calm, threatening as he addressed you. "You better not be happy about me missing you the last couple of nights." He almost growled and you gulped as fear shimmered in your irises. His hand raised and as his fingers caressed your cheek, he held your chin up high, looking you dead in the eye. "Tonight you're mine, (y/n). Not his." Fearing for what he might see in your eyes, you closed them, shielding yourself from him in the only way possible at that moment. Killer's presence disappeared from your personal space and immediately, your right hand held the bridge of your nose, rubbing over it to dissolve the thumping in your head from how fast your heart was beating. It didn't help as a headache was already coming up. Just great. Heaving a sigh, you pressed yourself from the wall and walked over to the younger crewmates, some new, some here for a longer time that one would admit. Lowering the plate to them, you offered the freshly made sandwiches to them, their appreciation evident in their eyes as they grabbed the bread before stuffing their mouth with it.

After feeding some of them, someone clapped their hand on your shoulder, and, thinking it might be Killer again with some harassment, you jumped, fear shimmering in your eyes before you looked at the culprit. A breath of relief escaped your lips and Heat cocked his head tiredly before he, too, understood what might have happened. You moved your lips, signing a silent plead to talk later when he was fully awake. Heat merely nodded and took three from your sandwiches and patted your shoulder once more before leaving you to it for the day. "Hey! Leave some for the rest!" You yelled after him, missing that other crewmates had already taken the plate for themselves and sat munching on the bread. When you looked back and noticed your loss, you simply grabbed the plate from their greedy hands and pushed one young crewmate over with your leg. "You as well." They laughed as you passed before you kicked him against his head. That made him shut up.

A door further back slammed shut and you turned around towards the sound, only to notice different crewmates looking at the door to Kid's workplace. Frowning, you now started to rethink your happiness from before. Maybe he regretted bedding you after all. Your shoulders slumped at the thought and, with less enthusiasm, you simply gave the last of the sandwiches to Mark to distribute between the rest before making your way to your room. It was the last day of the year and, if you were being honest with yourself, you didn't want to spend it with the blond first mate. At the thought, your skin started to ripple, a few hairs sprouting from your arms. A snarl left your lips before you pulled those hairs from their roots. "Not now, damn it." You muttered, rubbing the sore skin raw. You closed your door and leaned against it, closing your eyes for better thinking. The room smelled the same, yet slightly off. Furrowing your brows, you looked around your room, trying to find what exactly was off about it. Not seeing it at first, you pushed your body from the wooden door, walking around aimlessly, as it would seem, but your eyes wandered around over every inch. The walls were the same, your bed was made, your spare clothing neatly folded and put away, your desk seemed the same as your stuff were still in their places. Crouching down, you looked under your table, under your chair and even bed. Looking slightly bewildered, you rubbed your head in confusion. Something just felt.. off. Still looking around you, you grabbed a book and threw yourself on top of your bed, laying down on your stomach to read. The words danced in front of your eyes as you read the sentences and soon enough, you realised you hadn't even taken in any word you just read. Growing frustrated with yourself, you threw the book to the other side of your room, hitting the wall before falling flat on the ground with a thud. Sighing loudly, you turned on your back and looked up to the ceiling, your mind wandering even further.
