Day 01

It was officially the first day of the quarantine; to say Declan was bored would be an understatement. Eden seemed to have made it his life goal to ignore him. The poor boy had played all the games he owned, read all the books he could, called and texted his friends, and even cleaned the house several times.

Not much is expected when you live in a small two-bedroom apartment complex with someone who appears to hate your guts.

Bored out of his mind, Declan decided to try to get Eden to dislike him a little less. He slowly got up from the couch while preparing himself mentally to face the adorable small male.

On his way to the small male's bedroom; much to his surprise, he was met with the small male at his door fiddling with his pink sweater paws deep in his thoughts, which the younger thought was the cutest thing he had ever seen. "uh, hey," Eden spoke timidly; he wasn't exactly ready to talk to the tall male yet. But boredom is a killer; it makes you change your mind quickly.

"I'm bored and was wondering if you wanted to do something or," he trailed off.

"We could just watch a movie," Declan suggested, seeing how awkward Eden was being. Eden sighed as he sat in the furthest corner of the sofa, far from the other, fidgeting. "So, what are we watching?" Declan asked. "Let's watch a scary movie," Eden spoke excitingly, causing the other to release a throaty chuckle.

"Are you sure you can handle it, cupcake?" Declan teased, with the biggest grin on his face. "Hurry up and choose a movie before I change my mind," Eden demanded, with an eye-roll which caused the latter to let out yet another deep chuckle.

"I'll get some snacks," the elder yelled, rushing to the kitchen. He could hear Declan snickering from the living room while searching for a movie. He put a pack of popcorn in the microwave to pop while he got two bottles of soda from the refrigerator.

Eden slowly made his way back to the living area with the snacks, plopping himself down on the couch next to the younger male with a generous amount of space between them. During the movie, Eden would steal glances at the younger male, who would blush a bright shade of red every time their hand touched when grabbing the popcorn.

He thought it was cute how the younger male would touch his hair awkwardly when their hands would brush against each other or how he would steal small glances at him when he thought he wasn't looking; just freaking adorable.

Thirty minutes into the movie, Declan could see Eden shaking slightly; he had his tiny hands in front of his face while peaking through his fingers, which the male found quite cute. Scooting a little closer to the smaller male, Declan hesitantly put his muscular arm around the smaller male, who surprisingly snuggled up to him unconsciously.

Eden could feel the heat rising to his cheeks when the younger male started to cuddle him. He could feel the younger eyes on him, so he was glad his hand was still covering his face.

The credits started rolling in, and Declan could hear soft snores from the little guy beside him. All he could think about was how much beauty he possessed. He signed before picking up the elder and bringing him to his bedroom, gently laying the male on the bed.

"You're so beautiful," he whispered while gently caressing the sleeping male's cheek, planting a well-deserved peck on his head before going to his bedroom. The elder looked so peaceful while he slept, Declan thought as he lay in bed with his head resting on his arm. With the thought of the elder on his mind, Declan slowly drifted off into dreamland.

Little did he know he had awakened the elder while taking him to his room and leaving him a blushing mess. "Well, I guess it won't be as bad as I thought," the male whispered shyly.
