DAY 07

It was the seventh day of the quarantine, and the first person who woke up was Eden; he was admiring the face of the male who took care of him yesterday.

It was slightly embarrassing that he cried so much, but he was grateful the male cared for him.

He stared at the male for God he knows how long with a stupid smile on his face. He hates to admit it, but the sweet gestures and gentleness of the younger; had him falling.

"Done staring," the younger chuckled at the now blushing male, " I wasn't staring" the flustered male defended himself.

With a shake of his head, Declan rolled on top of the older, gently caressing his bright red cheeks. "How are you feeling?"

The question was somewhat random, but they both knew what he was referring to, "Good, Thank you." the male looked at the other adoringly as he ran his hands through the soft raven locks.

"Let's go make breakfast," Eden stated as he pulled away from the other, gracefully making his way to the kitchen.

~Time skip~

It was nighttime, and the two were once again watching a movie. Declan wanted to ask the elder why he was so afraid of the thunder, but he didn't want to interrupt the movie Time.

Eden could see Declan fidgeting in his seat and a frown on the male's face.

"What's wrong?" He questioned as he paused and turned away from the movie, focusing his full attention on the confused male.

"Can I ask you something... I swear you don't have to answer if you don't want to," the male panicked between his rambling. Eden giggled at the blabbering male. "You can ask me anything," the smaller one chuckled at the quiet male.

"How did you develop astrophobia?" Declan questioned, curiosity lase in his voice. "Well, it started when I was young," the male started dramatically, to which the other shook his head.

"When I was younger, I lived in a broken home," he signed, the other quietly listening and urging the other to continue. "My parents usually argue, but one day they had a terrible argument that was so intense that my mother had locked me in her closet, which was severely dark, by the way," Eden nodded as decan soothingly rubbed his back.

"And it was storming, and my mom left us that night," he croaked out, not wanting to go into details which Declan respected. "My dad left too, so I was left in the closet for one night. And a whole day 'cause he never really cared; My grandmother came over one day and found me passed out in there, and she has been taking care of me since then," he finished with another heaving sigh.

"Am sorry," the male apologized, even though he did nothing wrong.

"Why are you apologizing?" Eden questioned with a chuckle

"you have been through so much," the other sympathise, with a sad chuckle. "what do you mean?- I am sure you've been through more," the older sighed as he snuggled into the warmth of the younger; he chuckled and wrapped his arms around him.

"You are so beautiful," Declan stated, trying to change the sad atmosphere, which was successful; Eden blushed at the comment and shoved his heated face into the chuckling male's neck. "thank you," Eden whispered once more.

"It's ok, I am always here for you," the other stated as he planted a soft peck on the male's head, who gave a small smile in return. Both males relish in each other as they stay cuddled up to each other on the sofa staring at the movie, both are happy with what they had and how things are, but they both knew that there was more to it.
