Naptime Nook was a mess by the time you got there. Most of the children were quick to get up from their nap, jumping from under the blankets and running off to search for some sort of fun activity with Sun. A few of them had decided that their blankets were just too comfortable, and that playtime just wasn't appealing to them.

You understood their sentiment all too well. The struggle of pulling yourself out of the blankets was a familiar feeling, but you knew that the children needed to get up and go play. If they didn't, they would likely be too energized for the low dose melatonin in the Moondrop Candy to put them to sleep at the next nap time.

Despite your best efforts, the children seemed set on extending nap time. You had tried gently nudging them, bribing them with toys, and even removing the blankets from their bodies. The only reaction you got from the children was a groan when you removed their blankets, right before they pulled the blankets back up and went back to sleep. On some level, you envied their ability to fall asleep instantly.

Sun had been entertaining the children who were already awake, but he noticed your struggles with the stragglers, and skipped over to help.

"Did ya know we have a candy that wakes them up too?" he proclaimed giddily, "Since Moon has his own candy, management felt it was only natural I'd get a candy too!!" He was bouncing from one foot to the other, excitedly clapping his hands together. Anyone could tell he was excited to use the candy themed after him to gain some more playmates.

"I didn't know that," you answered his previous question, a soft giggle escaping you at how cute the animatronics little jumps were. "They'll be in that cabinet with everything else, right?"

"That is absolutely correct!" Sun bounced once more, then went to bribe the sleeping children with candy if they'd get out of bed. His energy was more contagious than your own, and the children begrudgingly eased themselves up.

You took the opportunity to open the closet and grab a handful of Sunnydrop Candy. Sun plucked the candies from your hands one at a time, distributing them to the dreary eyed children. The candies woke them up quickly and after a moment they were off with the others, playing various games throughout the daycare.

The children, now more used to you, were not going to let you get away with only cleaning up messes. To their little minds, it was only right that you played games with them.

These games included hide and seek, tag, tea party, and army. The games were pretty self-explanatory, but the children wanted to be certain that you understood the rules.

They explained hide and seek, telling you that someone would be deemed "it" through rock-paper-scissors. The "it" person would count to 10 (admittedly the highest number any of them knew) and everyone else would hide. Whoever was found last would be "it" for the next round.

Tag worked similarly. Rock-paper-scissors would determine who was "it." The "it" person would chase everyone, trying to tag someone. Sun would have a timer set for 20 minutes. The person who was "it" at the end would have to spin around 10 times until they got extremely dizzy.

Tea party was a game mainly the girls liked to play, although a few boys enjoyed it too. Everyone would sit down and pretend to drink tea, and someone would be the host. They had to serve everyone their tea and clean up when they were done.

Army was mainly played by the boys, but as it was with tea party, some girls liked it too. In this game, one of the children was designated drill sergeant by winning a race. Adults were not allowed to be in the race because their legs were unfairly long. Once the drill sergeant was assigned, they would give orders for the soldiers to follow. It was mainly a lot of pushups and running, along with a mini scavenger hunt through the daycare.

By the time the games were through, you wanted a small break from all the running around. You decided the best way to do this would be to start an arts and crafts table. At the table, you helped children with glitter glue and googly eyes, making sure the mess created would be bearable for later.

The children must have worn themselves out with their games because the number of children at the craft table was far greater than the children still playing with Sun. At one point, while you were helping a little girl open a box of crayons, you could have sworn you saw Sun staring at you with a soft smile. You couldn't be sure of this, however, because another child needed help twisting open a bottle of glue and Sun was no longer staring when you looked back up.
