School was finally over. Seven hours done with. Thank God.

I started walking home when I heard loud thunder crack across the sky. Damn it. I started running, trying to get home before the rain hit, but I was too late. It started pouring, soaking my clothes immediately. I slowed down, as it was no use to run anymore. I still had to walk about two more miles before I got home. This sucks! But why me? Why was this happening to me and no one else?

For some reason, I felt like I was being followed. I turned around, but didn't see anyone. Five minutes later, a black car pulled up next to me and rolled down the window. Unlike a normal person that would freak out and run, I turned my head to find a beautiful, blonde, blue eyed boy. "Hello, love." It took me a minute to process what he just said. Was he really talking to me? No one that gorgeous ever looks at me, let alone talk to me. He stared at me with a confused look on his face, as I hesitated. "Uhh. Hi." "Do you know how to get to Nandos? I'm new here, and not quite sure where everything is yet." As he said a little bit more, I noticed his deep, Irish accent. "Uh. Yea. You're gonna take a left at the stop sign and keep going down that road. It will be on your right." "Thanks" I took a couple of steps before he stopped me. "Would you like a ride? It looks like you're getting a little wet." We both giggled a little. "That would be great."

I jumped into the passenger seat an closed the door. I noticed when he turned his head to look back at the road, the hair on the side of head was a shade of dirty brown. "I'm Niall, by the way." "Katie" "That's a wonderful name" Okay. Now I know this isn't real. "Thanks" I said shyly.

I thought he was going to take me home, but he just pulled up to Nandos. He got out of the car and was standing in the rain. "We'll aren't you coming in?" he asked waiting for me to move. "Oh. Right." I mumbled to myself.

We got our food and sat down at a table for two. "So what do you do?" he asked. I almost got lost in his dreamy accent. I've heard many people with Irish accents before, why was I so interested in his? "I'm still in school, but I babysit a couple nights a week. What about you?" "Nothing right now. That's why I moved out here to London, to find a better job." "That's cool. There are a lot of fun things to do around here."

We were finished, but we waited for it to stop raining before we went out to the car. We talked, a lot. Why was he being nice to me? It felt weird, but I kind of liked feeling cared about for once. About 20 minutes later, the rain stopped and Niall started driving. I gave him the directions to my house and in 5 minutes, we were there. I wish it rained longer so we could talk more. The whole time we talked, I could have sworn I sounded like the stupidest person ever, because I've never talked to anyone for more than 2 minutes before, but the entire time he was just smiling. I dont know why, but he just made me feel special.
