"Katie! You cut yourself?! Why do you do this? How long have you done this?!" My head was down, not wanting him to see my tears. He grabbed my chin between his pointer finger and thumb, to lift my head back to eye level. As I looked up, I saw his glossy eyes. Was he about to cry?
"You weren't suppose to see those", I said, slightly above a whisper. "Really? Well I did" he stated quite loudly. "How long did you think it would take before I noticed them?" his voice now softer, calmer. "I dont know. I just assumed you'd leave before you noticed them, just like everybody else" "What do you mean 'just like everybody else'?" "Niall, you're the only person who has ever talked to me more than once." I saw a tear about to drip down his cheek, but he managed to wipe it away before it fell. "But I'm pretty sure now that you've seen them, you'll leave. I had an amazing time knowing you." I forced a fake smile before getting up and walking towards my bedroom. I felt his large hand grip around my wrist. "Are you serious? Now that I've seen them, there is no way I'm ever leaving." He pulled me in for a hug and didn't let go.
I could feel his heart beating fast against my collarbone as my head rested on his shoulder. His arms around my neck as his chin was placed on top of my head. He started rubbing my back as he could feel my deep breaths from trying to stop my crying. I heard him start to whisper, "You'll be okay. From here on out, you'll be fine. You'll be safe, with me." I looked up at him and saw a smile creep up on his face, which only made me happier. "Thank you" I whispered as my head leaned against his chest, hugging him tighter.

**Niall's P.O.V.**
At about 8:30, 'The Notebook' ended and Katie blurted out, "My turn!" "Your turn for what?" "To choose something to watch." She turned to look at me, "Duh.." She said as she smiled and laughed. Why was she so cute? And what did she mean by 'just like everybody else'? She's gorgeous! And she has an amazing personality. How could anyone not talk to her? There had to be more about her that she hasn't told me. But what was it?
