To other people's eyes right now, I may seem like the typical "I- don't- care-about-school" guy, but no I am far from that, can you blame a college student with a hand under his chin trying his hardest not to fall asleep during a discussion of a certain strict professor? No right? Exactly. To be honest right now, studying on how to get the certain simplest form of a complicated fraction isn't really ringing a bell for me- I mean would we be even able to use this in the future?- if your answer is yes, I am totally disagreeing with you.

Math isn't really anyone's forte, am I right? Yes I believe I am, but yet I still pass on this really hated subject.

Our professor dismissed us early and that means we have to go to our other classes 'duh' but I hated my next class, it was History and yes History bores me to hell, we just talk about the previous presidents and their acknowledgements and their certain platforms that 'changed' the world. I always seat at the near back of the room, just because of the reason that I don't want to get caught yawning when the professor is discussing; being humiliated in college is much worse than being humiliated in middle school.

It was about time when the prof dismissed us but unluckily for me it was doomsday because Ms. Locks called my name out as she saw me walking down the stairs, I sighed and walked to her she said I had to wait until the whole class was gone and so I waited.

"So Mr. Hood." she started, removing her glasses and polishing it with one of her neatly folded hanker-chiefs "It seems to be that you are failing my class and as a college student you have to be the one to make sure you can make up to it." she then later on said, looking at me with one of those stares that made you sure that she was serious.

"And as you know the school year is about to end but before that we have our final exams and calculations and apparently as you know you are failing my class and you need to make up for it before the exams-"

"Am I really failing that bad? That finals can't make up for it?" I cutted of Ms. Locks, making her bring her glass down and dart her eyes at me for intruding her, "Yes apparently you are Hood, there is only one way to save your GPA and that is for you to have a make-up test and regardless of your intermediate performances from the last semesters you still need someone to help you, a friend or, or or-" she kept clicking her long fingernails on her table thinking of the word, which made me sigh and say it myself "Tutor."

"Ah yes a tutor!" she cheerfully exclaimed- "But Ms. Locks I don't know anyone who can tutor me." I whined as childish as that would sound. She exhaled deep and looked down "This was harder than I thought, well I have one possible student who could be able to tutor you- I'll just send her to te library tomorrow make sure you'll be there during lunch break or whatever break you students have." she sighed once again.

I nodded and said my 'thanks' to her as she shooed me away, I didn't mind that my tutor was a girl, I mean it couldn't matter more since I'll spend 3 weeks just learning additional things about History. Call me judgemental or whatever you want but I bet she would be one of those college girl who would seem to act and feel too high for other students just because they have higher GPA's.

I walked back to my dorm only to be greeted by Michael and Apple who were probably watching a rerun of 'FRIENDs' on Michael's laptop their eyes turned to me as soon as I closed the door.

"Hey Calum!" Apple greeted shooting me a smile while I walked over to my bed and laid down exagerrating a long sigh, "Hey" I muffled through my pillow, "Well someone had a bad day." Michael said, as I heard the laptop closed, "What happened Calum?" asked Apple.

"I'm failing history and I have to make-up for it and apparently I need to get a tutor-" I was cut off by Apple asking "Well did you ge-"

"Yes Apple, Ms. Locks seemed to get me a tutor already and we're starting tomorrow." I finished off my sentence earlier, sitting up facing the couple, "Then why are you so whiney about this? You are getting a second chance after all." Michael pointed out, shrugging his shoulders.
