"Are you sure you guys aren't dating?" I heard Sakura ask as I woke up.

"We're just good friends, Sakura." I sat up looking around when I felt us hit land.

"Good timing." Tauzna stated.

"Thanks I try." I got out first then Kakashi as we each helped the team out. Naruto drew a kunai from his bag and started off ahead of us throwing them everywhere like he had something to prove.

"Naruto you had better collect those kunai I'm not made of money." I called out.

"You act like his mother." Tazuna mentioned.

"That's cause she's all he has." Sakura fell into step with him acting like it was a secret by leaning really close and mentioning it behind her hand.

"Naruto I'm not joking." I called again.

"I will make sure to get them all promise." He turned with a big smile and threw another kunai I heard a squeak and we all approached to see a small white winter bunny looking terrified his ears bent down to keep them out of the way. A winter bunny someone's pet? Or a distraction? Maybe a lure? As soon as the thought crossed my mind I heard the sound of metal and a very powerful chakra became apparent. 

"Duck!" I shouted grabbing both Sakura and Sasuke while Kakashi already had Naruto and Tazuna on the ground. Sasuke looked confused for a moment until a huge sword implanted itself in the tree where our heads would've been.

The man jumped back and I got a good look at him. I recognized him from my bingo book Zabuza Momochi a rouge from the village hidden in the mist. I quickly pulled the whole team behind Kakashi and I. I hadn't really been paying attention until he said my name.

"Ruby Uzumaki." He held a book in his hand. "This book has quite the bit of info on you." He stated shutting the book. "And from what it says why would you be here with these brats?" He asked me. I quickly folded down my two middle fingers to meet my thumb behind my back. A sign for Naruto to not talk at all. Once I knew he saw it I answered.

"I took a job." I responded. Pulling a kunai out of my bag. 

"I think I want to take you out first." He responded. 

"Good luck with that." I laughed slightly. 

"Don't fight him, Ruby." Kakashi stated.

"You don't get a say in this." Zabuza stated angrily a water clone appeared behind Kakashi and grabbed Kakashi engaged in battle with the clone while the real Zabuza launched toward me and he aimed for my team and I shoved him back throwing him into the water. I stayed back with the team. 

"You guys stay here okay do not engage Zabuza." I stated to the team. "And protect Tazuna." 

"Ruby don't go out there." Naruto begged me.

"Naruto, he's just going to keep coming back to us until I fight him that puts you all and Tazuna in danger." I looked back out him. 

"But you could die." He responded pleading with me.

"I won't die Naruto I spent most of my life as a ninja. Plus if I left who would stay with you?" I asked before running off toward the Zabuza who was already on his way to me. I slashed through the water clones he was throwing toward me. Once I was mostly in the clear I put my kunai away and pulled out my sword I needed to get a feel for how he fought before I could really get into it. He swung the monstrous sword toward me and I jumped up on top of it and ran up it before he had time to swing it back. I swiped at his arm cutting it quickly. I jumped off of his arm as he looked back to me suprised that I had the speed I do.
