Since they still haven't gotten all the werewolf venom from the seven packs yet Hayley and Klaus decided to stay at the safe house until they do. They can't continue their plan until they have the cure. Since everyone left after Hope was born they have been getting regular updates from everyone on what the Demartels, Lucien, and the Strix have been up to.
To help keep them updated on their enemy's movements they have abducted some Strix members and people from Lucien's company whether human or vampires and have drained them of vervain and compelled them to update them on everything they do.
Because Kol wanted another massacre he was in charge of taking care of the remaining followers of the Hollow. It took him a while to find all of them but he managed to kill all of them. While Kol was dealing with the Hollows, follows the rest of them had been gathering the werewolf venom from the seven packs. To cover more ground they split up into two groups one being Freya, Rebekah, and Elijah. The other group was Finn and Ava.
Also, since they wanted to keep people from finding out about Kol and Finn being alive Freya made them necklaces that would make them look like someone else. So far everything has been going according to plan but they can't let their guard down just yet because you never know what the enemy could be planning.
It has almost been a year now since Hope was born and in a couple of days, it will be her first birthday. Everyone is going to come here a few days before Hope's birthday and when they do we will go over a new plan then after that we can all focus on celebrating Hope's birthday.
Hayley walks into the kitchen to find Klaus playing with Hope.

"Good morning, how is my favorite person in the whole world doing today," Hayley says as she looks at Hope.
"I'm doing just fine love but you really should be asking about Hope," Klaus says while smirking and then continuing to play with Hope.
"Ha, really funny you know that I was talking about Hope. Now give me my baby," Hayley says playfully.
"Our baby," Klaus says as he hands Hope over to Hayley.
"How are you today my little princess? Mommy can't wait to spend the whole day with you but first, we're going to get you changed because mommy wants to take some nice pictures of you."
"We will see you later. Wave bye to daddy now," Hayley says as she motions Hope's little chubby hand into a wave.
Hayley then changes Hope into different outfits and begins taking photos of her.
