A New Beginning

Chapter 21

(Camila Mendes as Sara Flore. While their genders are switched I am going to write male-Hayley and female-Klaus. When I write she it means Klaus and he means Hayley. I thought I would mention this if it is confusing for some people.)

"Switched genders? Bloody hell, this can not be happening," Female-Klaus said still in shock.

The kids then run up to them.

"I'm so sorry, I didn't think the spell would collide," Hope said.

"We're sorry too," the triplets said.

"This is why I told you guys not to fight when you're practicing magic. Something unexpected always happens when you guys fight," Male-Hayley said.

They should be glad nothing serious happened. I would hate to imagine something worse happening to us.

"Are we going to be stuck like this permanently or is this just temporary," Male-Hayley asked Freya nervously.

"I'm not sure, I've never seen anything like this before. But I don't think it is permanent, let me do some research and I'll tell you what I find," Freya said as she went inside to look at her grimoires.

"I hope this will not last long. The last thing we need is anyone finding out about this," Female-Klaus said annoyed.

"Would it be that bad if anyone found out," Male-Hayley asked confused?

"Of course, it would be bad! I can't let any of my enemies find out I have become a woman. It will give them ideas that they can come and harm our family just because they think I'm weaker."

"Are you weaker?"

"I'm not, I still have the same strength as before but that doesn't mean that others will believe that."

"I'm sure it will be fine, we'll just stay home until we're back to normal."

"What about Hope, we still have to drive her to school. Not to mention the pack."

"We'll have Freya take her for now and for the pack they don't really show up much unless we ask them to. So I'll send out a text to them saying that no one should come to our house for a while because we are working on some things."

"What things?"

"It doesn't matter, they won't ask what."

"Fine, but none of my other siblings better not show up. The last thing I need is for Kol or Rebekha to find out about this. Knowing them I will never hear the end of this."

"You worry too much everything will be just fine. Besides, it could be fun being the opposite gender for a while."

"How could it be fun?"

"Well, we could do things we never thought of doing before like..."

You know what I honestly can't really think of anything. There must be something that we could do.

"Oh, we could go into town and see how people will react to our new appearance."

"I thought we agreed no one should know about this."

"We don't have to tell anyone it's us. We could just act like this is how we're always looked."

"As fun as that would be. I think we should first get used to these new bodies before we start trying to mess with people."

"I guess you're right. Now what we should be doing right now is changing our clothes because yours are only bigger on you but mine are too tight. It's a good thing I decided to wear loose clothes otherwise I'd be naked," Male-Hayley said.
