A New Beginning

Chapter 11

The next morning everyone was going over the next stage of the plan. Which is having Freya, Finn, and Kol go to Austin, Texas to get the werewolf venom from Keelin. While Klaus and Hayley travel to the North East Atlantic Pack territory to find a shaman to perform the Unification Ceremony. Since they still don't want anyone to find out about Hope just yet, so they had Rebekah, Elijah, and Ava watching over Hope while they were gone.

It's been two days since Hayley and Klaus left for the North East Atlantic Pack territory.

While on the car ride to the North East Atlantic Pack territory Hayley couldn't help thinking about how far they have come since they found out about Hope. They have fought off many enemies and have made some new friends as well. Thinking about friends reminds me of the time when I first told Lisa about who we were.

Flashback

It had been a few days since Lisa gave birth to her son Grayson and Hayley has been contemplating telling her the truth about who she and Klaus are.

"Lisa, there's something I've been meaning to tell you."

"It must be very serious if it has you looking so grim. Whatever it is I'm sure it's not as bad as you make it out to be."

"The truth is my name isn't Hayley Marshall, well it used to be before I got married. But it's now Hayley Mikaelson."

"Mikaelson? Like the Original family?"

"Yes, my husband is Klaus Mikaelson, the Original Hybrid. You see the baby where having is very special because it is the first child of a Hybrid."

"But I thought vampires can't have children?"

"They can't but Klaus can because he's part werewolf. She is going to be very powerful so that's why many people will try to harm her. We came here so that she can be born without any supernatural drama. I'm so sorry that I have been lying to you when you have been nothing but truthful about your situation," Hayley says while looking down.

"Hayley, look at me," Lisa says with a serious tone.

Hayley looks up to see Lisa smiling at her. Why is she smiling? She should be angry with me for not telling the truth this whole time.

"You're not mad at me for lying about who my family is."

"Why would I be mad? You told me you had to keep the secret about who you were to protect your little girl. If I were you I would have done the same. Besides, how can I be mad at the person who's been there for me throughout my whole pregnancy? You're my friend Hayley. I don't care if you are a Mikaelson. I like you just the way you are."

"Thank you, Lisa. It's good to know that you don't see me any differently than before."

"How can I, you've done some much for me and you didn't have to."

"How could I not, no one deserves to go through this kind of situation alone. I know that most people do but it isn't right. There should always be someone you can go to when you need help whether it's family or friends."

"I'm glad that I met you, Hayley. When I first left my pack I wasn't sure how things would turn out but I'm glad everything worked out in the end. I can't wait for your little girl to be born. I know that she and Grayson will be the best of friends."

"I hope they are because I know how hard it is for a Mikaelson to make friends. I want Hope to experience the thing her father and I haven't, which is growing up in a happy environment surrounded by friends and family."

End of Flashback

They have just arrived and the first thing they see is a group of teenagers playing soccer. When the teenagers notice Hayley and Klaus pulling up they stop playing.
