Marley

It was a peaceful sight to see the stars painting the sky above, the lake glistening creating the perfect backdrop behind the bomb fire. Music echoes from behind Marley from the house.
Marley! There you are! His voice echoes from behind. She staggers and turns around to face him. She gains her balance.

"And there you are" She replied back. Her tone was harsh and unwelcoming.

Confused by her response he asked what was wrong.

"Nothing Ted! I'm happy for you! I really am" Marley takes a sip of her beer and turns back to the lake. Ted grabs her arm and pulls her to face him.

Don't you dare! Don't you dare touch me! Shouted Marley.

"Oh, I understand now. You're mad that you weren't chosen for the music video? It is not my fault the Director didn't choose you! Maybe you should have practiced harder"

She turns back to him and says "I don't care about that; do you even know what today is?"

Ted doesn't respond making Marley became even more mad. He really didn't know?

It's my birthday! she exclaimed.

Ted looks at her in shock. Looks through his phone "No my handler put it on schedule! It's tomorrow. It's today! Babe I'm so sorry. I'll make it up to you."

"Let's go back in before your manager starts looking for you"

Marley knew things would change between them. One's Ted single came out! As much as she was hurt, she was even more hurt to know. This wasn't going to be forever. Their forever fairytale would soon end.

She walks in and over to the bottles sitting on the kitchen counter. She grabs a whiskey bottle and pours a shot. Marley slams the shot back, followed by another. She grabs one of the wine bottles and starts drinking out of it.

"Easy! I think you've had enough to drink," said Harper. She tries to take the bottle from my hands.

"I'm fine! It's my birthday. Let me have some fun."

Marley pulls the bottle away from and disappears into the crowd. Marley knows she should be on her best behavior. She didn't want to embarrass herself or Ted.

Stumbling out the front door. Marley knew she shouldn't have gotten that drunk in the first place. She held her head and tried to gather her bearings before leaving for her car. She became more alert as she realized she was all alone. Where is everyone?

Even Ted wasn't around, but his car was still parked out front. She looks up to the sky and notices a strange haze of fog moving above the houses. She turns back to go inside before reaching for the door Ted walks out the door. He is trying to hold someone up and her hair falls over her face.

"I'm so happy to see you. Help me with Harper!"

Marley rushes over to help Ted once she realizes who it is. It's Ted's handler. She catches a glimpse of Harper's eyes they are dark black! This wasn't a simple hangover. No this is something else!

Harper falls forward onto her knees. Marley becomes hesitant to grab her. Ted took a step back and pulled Marley towards him. The veins in her neck are black just like her eyes. She begins to shake violently, and then Her body stops, Harper looks up at us slowly.

Harper? Marley steps from behind Ted. Harper lunches towards them she strange foam coming from her mouth. Ted pulls Marley towards his car. He quickly unlocks it and we get in. As we drive away Harper starts to run towards the car.
"What is happening? We shouldn't have left her!"
