The day continued on, you and your friends chatting while not even noticing the time that had passed.
"OMG Y/N REMEMBER WHEN WE WERE KIDS AND YOU ATE YOUR OWN SHI-" Hu Tao was cut off by Ganyu checking her phone to see the time, "Guys.... It's almost midnight we should probably get home!"
Hu Tao glared at her phone and gasped, "Oh, Well I mean it wouldn't hurt to stay a bit longer!" "Hu Tao. The last time you said this we all didn't go home until 3am." Xiao walked over to you all. "Hey, that was over a year ago! And it was at the bowling alley not the skating ring!" She defended herself.
"Well, I'm sleepy as is.. So we should probably get going.." you spoke up. "UGHH. Fine, anyone wanna stay a bit longer??" Hu Tao looked around to see no one had their hand raised, "Really?!" Keqing rolled her eyes while you began walking to return the skates you'd borrowed.
Before you made it there you were stopped by a tap on your shoulder, "Uh, do you know where to return the skates?" It was Xiao.
You were confused because he had already been there but nonetheless answered, "Oh.. Yeah, You return them at the same place you borrowed them." He nodded and walked beside you. There was a sudden comfortable, but slightly awkward silence between you two until you finally made it to the skate rentals and were greeted by the same man from earlier, Diluc. You both returned your skates and payed while walking to the others. Subconsciously, while you were walking you grabbed onto Xiaos hand. He turned red immediately, "You really wanna hold my hand that bad?" He gasped, realizing what he'd just did and regretting it badly. You pulled your hand away immediately and ran over to Hu Tao, Keqing, and Ganyu out of embarrassment. 'Way to make a first impression..' He thought, frowning.
You hurried to Hu tao, pretending nothing had happened, Hey Y/n, Soo are you going to tell me what just happened between you and Xiao?~" she teased, making your face truly turn into a tomato this time,
"I'm gonna go but see you guys tomorrow! Be safe and have a good night!!" You hurried out to your car, hopping in and turning on your Spotify to calm you down. While you were driving you heard a notification on your phone, but ignored it because you knew how dangerous texting and driving is. But it didn't stop at one, there was another and another and another! Once you parked at your house and ran to your room, careful not to wake your parents up; you quickly opened your phone up to see an abundance of notifications.
