The same woman was standing there and she was still on her phone "Im here"

"I'm aware" she said "give me just a second to finish this text to my sister. She's in town for a family matter and she's making my life harder"

"Sorry?" I said not knowing what to say.

She put her phone down and looked me up and down and tilted her head "what size shirt do you wear?"

What? "I don't know, whatever fits and is clean that day I guess"

She hummed and was about to say something but amber came running behind the counter and pulled me into a hug and kissed me "I did it! I called him and told him I want him out of my apartment and he cussed me out but I did it Sydney!"

"That's great but I was working amber. We've talked about this too and you also have a job to be doing right now"

"Sorry, I was just so excited and wanted to tell you. But two things before I leave"

"Amber"

"Please just let me say these two things then I'll let you get back to work"

"Fine, hurry now"

"Okay! First is that he was cheating on me but that's fine I've been cheating on him too and obviously you know that because it's been with you. Second I wanted to know if you wanted to sleep over at my place tonight" she asked the last bit quietly as if she was all of a sudden shy or nervous around me and it sent a weird feeling through my body and I felt a bit of power? Dominance? I think that's the one. It made me want to use that dominance on her and make her submit to me even though I'm sure she would.

"We'll see, go get your work done and we'll talk about it later"

She smiled "this is the first time you didn't just straight up tell me no so we're making progress and soon I'm going to get you to loosen up enough to commit to me" she said and walked away happily but made sure to give me a quick kiss before she left.

"She doesn't seem your type" the woman at the counter said.

"I'm pretty sure you don't know my type"

"She seems to happy and you seem to angry"

"I'm not angry, just having a bad day"

"How so?"

"Did you want coffee or a life story?"

"I can't have both?"

"Nope and if you choose wrong then you get escorted out of the store"

"I see, now I'm scared to choose"

"What's your coffee order?"

She told me the order and I started on it and it was three cups so I wrote random names on them. Mary-kate, Ashley, and Elizabeth like the Olsen sisters went on them and I made the coffees and put them in a cardboard carton and put them on the counter "that'll be $13.47"

"Can I throw in a few cookies?"

"Of course which kind"

"Three chocolate chips and four oatmeal raisins and two sugar"

"Do you want each one in a single packet or them boxed a certain way?"

"Nope"

"One box? Or multiple?"

"Can you put the little box into the big box?"

"I can" I said and got them into packets then into the box one for each type then put them into the bigger box.
