At the cafeteria, there were lots of university students eating food, chinwagging with friends, and falling in a long line to take orders. Joshua and Jane sat in the middle corner of the cafeteria. "What will you be ordering, Josh? What about you, everyone?" Jane stood up and got the wallet inside her bag. "I'll just order a hotdog and egg with rice, Jane," Josh said. "I'll go with you." They all stood up, going toward the seller to take their orders.
"What's your order, ma'am or sir?" The seller smiled. "Hello, can I have a hotdog and egg with rice? Josh said. Jane glared at Josh and tried to tease him with mockery. "I know what you're thinking, Jane. Stop it!" Jane taunted. "Whatever! You still love to eat hotdogs and eggs. I knew it! "Josh softly shoved Jane. "You are trying to vex me." After a long wait of getting their orders done, they sat at their chosen table. While Josh was busy talking with his classmates, a varsity player walked into the center aisle near their table. As he walked through, he accidentally dropped his handkerchief. He then tried to pick it up, but Josh did it first. Josh handed the handkerchief to the varsity player with a smiling face. "Here's your handkerchief! "He was holding it in his right hand. It was a white handkerchief decorated with anime characters. "Oh, thank you." The varsity player tried to thank Joshua for getting his handkerchief and handing it over to him.
Jane then interrupted both of them. "Oh, I knew who you are. You are Alex Perez, right?" pointing to the varsity player who just dropped his handkerchief. "Yes, I am." Jane was so stunned after hearing that the person in front of them was the famous varsity player at their university. In a cracking voice with a face that blushed like a rosy cheek, Jane exclaimed. "Oh my God! Can I have a picture with you?" She handed her cellphone to Joshua to take pictures with Alex Perez. She was so astonished to see him in person next to them. Jane immediately stood right next to Alex Perez. Alex chortled. "Okay, here we go." Joshua was holding the cellphone and was trying to hold his laugh because of what Jane did. "Okay! 1, 2, 3, smile!" Joshua clicked the capture button as many times as he could just to get a perfect shot. "Thank you, Alex." Jane handshaked him and softly hugged Alex. She was dumbfounded by Alex's appearance. Joshua at the table was so busy reading a book. After Jane and Alex photographed each other, Alex dashed.
Joshua poked Jane. "Hey, you are crazy." Joshua glared at Jane like he was trying to say something. It was long hours of free time, waiting for their next subject. On the covered court, while Joshua was reading a book, Leo appeared in front of him. Leo grabbed Josh's book. "Hey, Josh! Have you no time to speak with other people rather than just reading a book the whole day?" Joshua grinned. "Yes, I do love reading books. That's my hobby as well as my favorite thing to do during my free time. Wait, what do you want from me?" Leo sat beside Joshua and faced him. "Josh, I already did what you've told me. I gave up our relationship." He was melancholy. Joshua grabbed Leo's hand. "You know what? That's your choice. You did that for yourself and not for others."
It was a sunny day. There were lots of students having their physical education class on the covered court. Lots of them were playing basketball, and some played volleyball. Teachers were coaching their students on how to play the game, giving them rules and regulations. "What's your favorite sport, by the way, Josh?" Leo asked. "I love to play volleyball. I'm not that good, but I can play." Josh smiled at Leo. "I wasn't really into sports. I'm into academics. I love to write poems and stories. Playing sports like basketball wasn't my forte. What about you?" Leo got something inside his bag. "This is my artwork. I love to play basketball, but painting is my favorite. I'm into painting beautiful scenes like the natural formation of nature." They talked about their respective lives. Sitting on the bench at the covered court, they saw their classmates coming over. It was Sarah who was waving her left hand.
Jane, who came from the cafeteria, strutted in front of Leo and Josh. "Hi, guys! Oh, it's you again, Leo!" She tried to tease them both. Jane sat beside Leo and packed up the things she had brought from the cafeteria. She even got junk food inside her bag. "Guys, I have junk food here. Do you want?" She offered them the snacks she bought. Leo tore the plastic wrapper.
In front of them were Sarah and Erick. "Hi, Leo!" she exclaimed, twinkled her eyes. Erick, who was right next to Sarah, poked her. "You are always assuming, Sarah, that Leo will give you the chance to be his girlfriend. You're not even his ideal girl. Right, bro?" Erick stared at Leo. They ate the snacks that Jane bought from the cafeteria. After long hours of waiting for their next subject, the bell rang. They hurriedly packed up their things inside their bags and hurriedly went upstairs. While walking on the stairs going to the court floor of the building, they met their classmates for the next subject. They were talking about their new teacher, who was just replaced two days ago due to a conflict of schedules. As everyone was busy chinwagging, Leo was at the back of Josh, who was busy reading a book. Jane was so talkative, and everyone was hearing her loud voice talking about the movie she watched last night.
As they entered the room, they sat in their respective seating arrangements. Leo sat beside Josh in the front corner, while Jane was sitting right next to Erick. Someone entered their room and greeted them. "Good morning, everyone! Is this the class of Mr. Minghay?" Everyone looked at each other. "Yes, sir."
"Sorry to tell you that Mr. Minghay will not be able to meet you today due to some valid reasons. He is attending a meeting right now for the International Exchanged Researchers." Because of that, everyone packed up their things again to go home. It was their last subject for this day. Jane went toward Josh and invited him for an outing this weekend. "Josh, will you go with us for an outing this weekend?" Josh checked his schedules. "Oh, I love to, but I still need to ask permission from my parents." Josh waited for a tricycle outside of their university main gate. A few minutes later, he went home. Nobody was home, for his parents were busy selling products at their store, located in the market. He took off his uniform. Wearing only underwear, he went to the bathroom to take a shower. While taking a bath, he played his favorite music. He was rubbing the soap on his body and dancing to the rhythm of the music.
After taking a shower, he then grabbed the towel to dry his body. He went to the kitchen to prepare a meal. While scrolling through his Facebook account, he watched funny videos while eating. He washed the dishes, brushed his teeth, went to his room, and took a nap.
