Joshua was sitting on the bench, watching the other students visit the booths made by the different colleges and departments. While he was busy watching, his classmate Erick came. "Hey, Josh! Why are you alone? Where are Jane and your other friends?" Joshua was shocked and slapped Erick's right arm. "Erick! You frightened me. Well, I just don't know where they are now. I kept on calling Jane, but she didn't answer." Erick sat on the bench beside Joshua, and he offered him snacks he had brought from the cafeteria. "Why don't you join me in visiting the booths there, Josh? Come on!" Erick grabbed Josh's hand. "Okay, wait."

They visited first the booth of the Biology Department. They saw preserved animals, especially snakes and pigs. Erick asked, "Look, Josh! The animals are kind of weird when they are preserved." Josh stared at Erick, pointing to the scorpion. "Erick, look at this one. It's a preserved scorpion. It's so big-like it can make you die." While they were talking, the students who were assigned there explained to them, "These are the animals preserved by the students from the Biology Department, sir. As part of our research project, these are the animals the students chose to study." They were flabbergasted after hearing the information.

After minutes of staying in the booth, they decided to go outside of the campus to go to the mall to buy some food. They were riding on a tricycle when Erick asked, "Josh, what if someday someone will try to court you? Are you willing or not?" Josh startled and glared at Erick. "What are you saying, Erick? Well, I'm open, and that is something that shouldn't be rushed." They just arrived at the SM Seaside City Cebu. When Josh was about to give the fare to the driver, Erick said, "No, Josh. I'll be the one to pay." Josh, who was standing at the front of the tricycle, uttered, "Oh, thank you, Erick."

They were already inside the mall when Josh tried to call Jane, but she didn't answer. He was wondering why there was something fishy about how Jane behaved. He asked Erick, "What happened to Jane? Why is she not answering my call?" While they were walking to Watsons, Erick replied, "Maybe she's busy. Don't worry." After minutes of strolling around inside Watsons to buy skin care products, Joshua said, "Erick, did you already pay? I'm hungry. Can we go to the food court?" Erick who was carrying the products replied, "Yes, I did. Let's go." When they were walking towards the food court, Josh's phone vibrated. He then grabbed it from inside his pocket and found out that Jane was calling him. "Oh, speaking of Jane. She's now calling me." Josh answered, "Hello, Jane. Where are you? I kept on calling you awhile ago." Jane in a quavering voice said, "I'm sorry, Josh. I'm not feeling well. Can you come to my house right now? I have no one to help me here." Erick was inside the food court ordering foods; Josh went to him. "Erick, can we just take out our order? Jane said that she's not feeling well. Maybe I should go to her house now." They took a seat and waited for their orders to come. They both decided to take out the food and go to Jane's house. After minutes of waiting, their orders were already packed. Erick and Josh hurriedly rode a tricycle to Jane's house.

"Thank you, Uncle!" Erick said to the driver after giving their fare. They were already at Jane's house, and Josh called her. "We're already here, Jane. Kindly open the gate." Jane answered on the phone, "Yes, I'm coming." Jane went out to her house and was so energetic, greeting them. "Hi, Josh and Erick. Come inside." Josh interrupted her. "You told me that you are sick; that's why we are here. What happened to you?" Jane grabbed his hand and said, "Shhh, just shut up." As they were going inside Jane's house, there were lots of flower petals on the way going to Jane's main house door. Josh was wondering what this was for. He asked, "What's this, Jane? Erick, do you have any idea about it?" They just shut up their mouths and let Josh go inside the house. "Hey, why are both of you so quiet?" They didn't even have any reaction to Josh and just let him talk. When they were already at the front of the main house door, Jane said, "Josh, do the honor of opening the door." Josh glared at Erick and Jane, wondering what this was for. "For what, Jane?" Jane rolled her eyes and said, "Just open the door." Josh opened the door, and he was so shocked by what he had just witnessed. "What's this, Jane? Why are there lots of flowers?" Jane pushed Josh inside the house, and he saw his pictures displayed on the walls. "Is this a tribute?" he asked. Without him knowing, Leo was at his back, bringing a flower bouquet. Jane started to play the music. "Sasayaw sa kulog at ulan, iikutin ang tala at buwan. Habang tayo ay naliligaw, pakinggan ang puso, 'wag nang bibitaw. 'Wag nang magtagu-taguan, kita naman sa liwanag ng buwan. Ang lihim na pagtingin, kailan aaminin?" Josh was so shocked when he saw Leo. He was out of words and didn't expect this to happen. Leo grabbed his right hand and said, "Josh, I know that you also know that I like you so much. It's kind of weird, but every time I am with you, I find comfort and ease." Josh was startled and didn't even know what to say. "Leo, what do you mean? What is this?" Jane and Erick went outside and left them both inside the house. Leo intimately said, "Josh, may I request a favor from you to let me court you? I just want you to be my loving partner." Joshua was so overwhelmed and was just so surprised by what Leo had just said to him. "Leo, are you really sure of what you are doing? It would be my first time to have a guy courting me. But one thing I could say is that I'm no longer a kid anymore. So, I'm giving you the chance to court me. Just promise me that your feelings toward me are genuine and pure." Leo grabbed something in his pocket, and it was a ring. He gave it to Josh and said, "This is a promise ring, Josh. I promise that I will never try to break your heart, and my intention for you is genuine and pure." Josh let Leo put the ring on his ring finger. "Thank you, Leo." When they were about to stand up, Erick and Jane were just monitoring them. They went inside and prepared the food. Erick said, "Congratulations, Josh and Leo!" Josh glared at Erick and uttered, "Now I know that you are an accomplice to this, Erick." They laughed at each other, and after an hour, they went back to their school to attend some events.

"Hello, Pamulinawinians! How are you? Welcome to the booth contest. All you need to do is buy as many tickets as you can, and each ticket you buy is equivalent to one vote for your favorite booth. The voting will end tomorrow at exactly 10 o'clock in the morning."

The students were so busy buying tickets and casting their votes for their respective booths to win the competition. There were also lots of events that happened that day. Josh, together with Leo, Jane, and Erick, also bought tickets to vote.
