It was Friday morning, early in the morning, when Josh was called by his mother to wake up. While his mother was preparing his breakfast downstairs, Josh stretched his arms sideways, gradually removing the blanket covering his body. Seven o'clock in the morning and the scenic view of the sunrise were still there. "What a beautiful morning, Lord!" Josh said, facing the window and pointing to where the sunrise was. He put his feet down on the floor and then stood up. Before going out of his room, he first grabbed the pillows and arranged them accordingly, as well as folded the blanket properly. He took off his t-shirt, removed his boxers, and went to the bathroom without any clothes covering his body. When he entered the bathroom, he saw his petite body reflected in the mirror. "Oh, what a nice body, bro!" I turned on the shower and grabbed the soap at the top corner, where the hygiene products were arranged. He rubbed the soap on his petite body while feeling every drop of water from the shower touch his skin.
"Josh, wake up. It's already time. I've prepared your breakfast already." His mom called him while arranging the plates as well as the food on the dining table. Josh was still inside the bathroom taking a shower when his phone rang. His phone was always ringing until he heard the sound. "Oh, what's that? My phone." He took off the shower and grabbed the towel. He covered his body with the towel and went outside the bathroom. He picked up the phone that was on his bed to know who was calling him. It was Jane. Jane was calling him several times on the phone, but he didn't notice it. He called Jane to ask what was going on. A few minutes later, Jane answered the call. "Hello, Josh! I was calling you several times, but you didn't answer. Where were you?" Jane annoyingly asked Josh. "I was taking a bath. I was in the bathroom taking a shower. Why did you call?" Josh snickered. "Oh, you haven't heard the news? We have no class, though," Jane heightened.
"For real?"
"Yes, for real. So what's the plan? Shall we go out?" Jane asked Josh. He then asked Jane what the reason was for the suspension of classes, knowing that there was no news about it. "Wait, what's the reason for the suspension of classes?" Jane answered Josh, suggesting that he go to his Facebook account and read the announcement made by their university on their page. Josh accessed his Facebook account to clarify if what Jane had said was true. Then he found out that there was a suspension of classes due to an emergency meeting for the faculty and staff of the university. The only clear reason stated was that there was a meeting held for the International Exchanged Researchers. Jane invited Josh to go to a beach resort with her. "Josh, will you go with me? I'm going to a beach this afternoon together with our classmates. I hope you can come, please." Josh was hesitant to go with them because he hadn't yet asked permission from his parents. "Jane, I need to ask permission first."
"Okay. But I hope you can come with us."
"Yes, I hope so."
Josh ended the call and wore his boxer. While finding clothes to wear, his mom called him once again. "Josh, come here! You are already late!" Josh was inside his room quickly putting on the clothes he chose to wear and immediately went downstairs. His mom and dad were sitting at the dining table, awaiting him. "Good morning, mom, dad!" He kissed them on the forehead. "Good morning too, son," his dad answered.
"By the way, son, what are you wearing? Aren't you going to school today?" His mom was dumbstruck about what he was wearing. "Mom, dad, classes are suspended just today. It is because of the International Exchanged Researchers that the faculty and staff have an emergency meeting." He smiled at them while picking the rice right in front of him. "Okay, son. Let's eat."
"Thank you, mom."
After a few minutes of eating, Josh then realized to ask permission from his parents that he was going to be with his classmates to a beach resort. He shuddered. "Mom, dad, Jane invited me to go with her to a beach resort. We will be with our classmates this afternoon. Can I join them?" His mom smiled at him as well as his dad. "No problem, son. Just be careful always."
Josh washed the dishes after eating. His parents were ready to go to work. "Josh, if you need something, just call me," his mother said. "Goodbye, son. Be careful and enjoy there!"
Josh was left alone in his house. He was inside his room, holding and reading a book. It was a sunny day. He was lying on his bed with only a boxer on his body. He fell asleep for an hour with the book in his right hand. It was already ten o'clock in the morning, and he was still not awake.
The trees were so sturdy and green, the birds were flying, the flowers bloomed, and the wind was so calm and free. The chirping sounds of birds were so calm from the outside of the house. Until a few minutes later, the sky was darkened. It was like having an upcoming bad weather condition. Josh awoke when the sound of thunder struck, and the infuriating rays of the lightning appeared. He removed the blanket and looked out his window. It was so gloomy outside. The rain started to pour. Looking at his phone, it was almost lunch. He went downstairs and prepared his meal. He cleaned the rice with water, putting it inside the cauldron. With his phone on his hand, while waiting for the weather to calm down, Josh opened the television and found out that there was a typhoon. Their place would be affected again.
He was lying on his bed while waiting for the rice to be cooked, and the phone rang. It was Leo who called him. "Hello, Leo?"
"Hello, Josh. Where are you now? Are you going to the beach this afternoon?" Leo asked.
"I'm not sure, Leo. We have bad weather now. And if it doesn't calm, then I will choose to stay inside my room reading books." He cackled. "It is raining cats and dogs. The weather is so bad for us to go out this afternoon. By the way, are you alone there?" Leo asked. "Yes, I am. Why?" Josh answered without any hesitation.
"Can I come? I'm so bored here."
"Yes, why not? Just bring snacks." Josh laughed. "Why not? I'll bring lots of snacks there. Let's do a movie marathon."
"Okay, see you."
After a long talk, Josh ended the call and turned off the stove because the rice was already cooked. He then arranged the living area as well as his room. On the other hand, Jane called Josh on the phone. "Hello, Josh. The weather is so bad. I'm also not feeling well. I have a fever now." Jane blubbered and was disheartened. Josh replied, "No problem. Get well soon, Jane. Let's have it some other time."
It was already noon, and the weather was still so bad. Heavy rains were pouring outside, and the sound of apoplectic thunder was still present. He didn't know why Leo still chose to be in his house, knowing that the weather wasn't so good. Josh was wearing a matching t-shirt and a pajama colored pink. After hours of waiting, someone called at the front of Josh's main door. It was Leo who called him outside. He hurriedly went downstairs and opened the door. Leo was so wet, bringing lots of snacks, as he promised. They both went to Josh's room, and Josh suggested Leo take a shower first and just borrow his clothes.
"Leo, just take a shower first. Just borrow my clothes here." Then Leo seducingly stared at Josh and smiled. "What about briefs or boxers? Everything is so wet." Josh guffawed and taunted. "Then let that eggplant become free and hang it for a while!"
