Kambe and the spec ops teams successfully reached Phnom Penh under AA fire. At the airfields, several I-69 jets were taking off into the sky, with tons of imperial guard soldiers scrambling into armored cars to reach the front. KF51 tanks rolled through the streets to combat the guerrilla tactics of Rouge forces, while machine guns mowed down incoming Sangvis Dinergates.
Kambe: "This is one hell of a scene."
Rollin: "Sir, I say we send the 2 teams to the frontlines to lead the defense."
Kambe: "Agreed. 404, you will be going to the front. AR, you go around and sabotage any enemy supply lines. I know y'all can do it."
404 and AR teams split up and drove to their positions.
Kambe: "Rollin. Come with me to the palace. We will coordinate the defense."
Kambe: "buzzzz... Adler, the capital is under attack. Send our fleet of gunboats to control the river and ferry supplies."
After, Kambe and Rollin rush to the palace to coordinate the defensive positions.

-Day 1-
Khmer mortar fire destroys many Angkorian structures. Angkorian defenses at Street 93 push back Sangvis units back to Ta Khmau.
A KF51 tankdrives across the road towards Chaom Chau, alongisde many imperial guard soldiers. RPG fire cannot penetrate it's armor as it almost singlehandedly retakes Chaom Chau, but is disabled on the way to Akntaok. Kambe sends in field engineers to repair it.
A large army of Khmer forces wielding AK47s and machetes storm Khmuonh. The defense collapses, and other Angkorian forces must be diverted to the new boundary.
Commander sends a helicopter fleet containing 450 of his best men to assist in the defense.

Ump45 and Ump9 patrol the streets of Khmuonh. They soon come under heavy fire from different buildings until an RPG blast rocks the street.
45: "What was that? Are we being flanked?"
45 and 9 looks back only to see architect on a tank with her big RPG,
Architect: "Griffin dolls? I never thought I'd see you here!"
45 and 9 aim their guns at her.
Architect: "Relax, i'm not a Sangvis anymore! I'm Kambe's beloved, and that's who I want to protect."
45: "I still don't trust you. Plus, I want Kambe's affection, and I don't think you're fit for him."
Architect sighs
"Fine, but I won't go easy."
9 found it surprising that they just met after they were enemies and now they seem to trust eachother a bit more.
9: "Ooh, I sense competition."
45 picks up 9 and throws her across the street.
Architect: "You do know that there are still enemies here?"
45: "She can take them on."
45 smiled and continued arguing with Architect about who gets Kambe.
-Day 3-
Adler's gunboats arrive, solidifying control of the Bassac and Mekong rivers
Because Angkor has many ties with France, they are sent 100 troops of the foreign legion.
600 Angkor troops storm a temple at Akntaok, compleetely taking over the sector.
SOP II accidentally blows up a Rouge jupiter cannon after throwing a grenade near an ammunition depot.
Angkor artillery strikes pound Sangvis and Khmer forces at Khmuonh, taking back several acres of land.
A Khmer army of 500,000 swarm Nirouth, and push a combined arms offensive that reaches the Royal Palce. Kambe and Rollin are in grave danger.
-Day 4-

Khmer T-62 tanks burst through the gates of the palace, starting a firefight that causes heavy losses on both sides.
Kambe orders a prototype Supersonic Plasma Artillery gun to fire at the invading army at Nirouth. 2,000/500,000 soldiers of the Khmer army are killed.

Kambe on call with Commander
Commander: "So i've heard that the Plasma artillery I sent over 3 days ago wiped out lots of Rouge forces.
Kambe: "Precisely, which is why i'm asking you to mass produce them."
Commander: "We just discovered a way to well uh, sort of 'clone' metals. We will mass produce them in no time."
end call
M4 claims that she saw m16, but now can't find her.
New reports come in that Commander now has 250,000 reserves that are marching towards the city.
the large Khmer army east of the city call in 2,000 troops to replace the ones lost to the artillery.
In a desperate last stand at Dangkao, a Khmer force bayonet charges into machine gun fire. No one survived.
the Khmer east army push all the way to street 128. There, it divides into waves of 100,000 each to storm the royal palace.
A whole new surge of infantry begin shooting at the palace. Kambe finds an Ameli off of a dead soldier and begins firing, killing 64 soldiers.
Resources at the palace are running low, it will not be long before it falls.
-Day 5-
out of the palace's 1,000 guards, only 24 of them remain after heavy fighting. Kambe and Rollin just barely hold the many building as tons of Rouge forces swarm the area. A tank shell causes a large beam of wood to collapse from the ceiling, causing the roof to collapse. Kambe and Rollin barely escape, only for Kambe to get shot in the leg and fall onto a pile of rubble. Rollin, along with the 24 guards, surround Kambe's body to protect it.
Kambe: (I guess this is over. It kinda sucks how everything has to end like this...
As Kambe gave in and passed out, several I-69s could be seen strafing the enemy soldiers, killing scores of them. Napalm blasts surround the palace as two helicopters, one with the AR team and one with team 404 rappel down to cover the Guards as they rush Kambe to safety.
Architect: "It seems we were too late... :("
45: "Yeah, but Architect, could I trust you now?"
45 shoots a soldier rushing towards architect with a knife.
Architect: "We have the same interests; Besides, I'm no longer a Sangvis, but an Angkorian."
Architect blasts an armored SF unit and a T-62 using her RPG.
Another explosion could be heard. Right next to the palace on the river is a heavy gunboat, with Adler standing on it directing the artillery.
Adler: "These assholes are gonna pay for what they did to Kambe."
Enterprise: "Yes. I will enact our vengeance."
Another fight ensued, as a small team fought off hundreds of Khmer soldiers, while commander's 250,000 troops secured the rest of the city, leaving the Khmer surrounded. The enemy general eventually surrenders, ending the 5 day siege.
