"What the hell are you doing?" Shlok yelled at the two kids. They were attempting to climb the tallest tree. Shlok won't have given a damn if Tanmay hadn't pulled Aachal along with him.

"Can't you see, we are hiding," Tanmay groaned in annoyance. He disliked Shlok interruption in their matter. He never used to talk before, Tanmay had attempted alot during his initial phase to be friend but he always ignored his presence, finally he had managed to make a friend and the monster was trying to pull her away from him.

"You're planning to get your legs broken," at his comment the branch shook. And Shlok heart almost jumped out of his ribs. "Aachal!" He screamed in utter frustration. "Get down, now!" Though his voice hadn't turn rough yet he had the authority in it.

Aachal pouted, she wanted to win the game. Aachal glanced at her bestfriend. He had never glared at her. She had witnessed his fights with the rest of the members in the house. He had even argued with Buba but he had never raised a voice against her.

"Don't shout at her!" Tanmay came in Aachal's support. "We are playing and allow us to play." Shlok didn't utter a word as he shut his mouth. He wanted to walk from there but his concern towards his new friend didn't allow him to move a inch from his place.

Soon a girl rushed out, her orbs scanning the entire surrounding. She was of same age as Aachal. Her lips had turned into a cute pout. Her orbs came and locked on Shlok but she was scared to ask him for help. After all, he was the monster of the home.

"Did you find them?" Another girl rushed in a hurry after her.

"No," the girl muttered in annoyance. "I don't want to loose again," she almost was on the verge of crying. Just with defeat she was planning to move inside the home, there was a sound of something. Everyone orbs moved in that direction. A branch was cracking and at that moment they noticed the two sitting on the branch of the tree.

"Aachal!" Shlok screamed in horror. He rushed towards the tree in extreme fear. Tamany was attempting hard to grab Aachal's wrist but he wasn't strong enough to hold her weight. She slipped from his hold and felt on the ground. Shlok was standing under the tree to grab her but the branch hit his forehead, distracting his focus. Making Aachal to land on the ground.

The loud shout from the children brought the rest of them out along with Buba. "Aachal..." Shlok walked towards Aachal, she was crying in pain. Her legs were bruised due to her landing on the ground filled with stones. Her legs had hit one of those stones and blood was oozing out of it.

"What is happening over here?" Buba screamed in horror as she moved towards the crying girl. "How did this happen?" She knelt before the crying girl, attempting to calm her down. Few of the children handed the first-aid to Buba.

"We were playing hide and seek and she had climbed the tree," Buba raised her head to glance at the tree. Tanmay was still on the tree. "Tanmay! You motivated her to climb it, right?" Buba was scolding him. "What are you waiting for?" She shook her head in disbelief, "get down! If you don't want to fall like her." She warned him.

Shlok was staring at Aachal as if his life depended on it. The blood oozing from her legs, those beautiful orbs filled with tears. It was impossible for him to glance at.

"No!" Aachal screamed on glancing at the ointment in Buba's hand. "It will pain!" She screamed in horror. She recollected the times when her mother had put such kind of medicine and it had always hurt. She wasn't planning to feel it again! To experience it again!

"If we don't put it will pain." Buba tried to make her understand but she was adamant not to listen. She kept crying grabbing her bruise legs and arms and denying to be treated.
