The pain was unbearable. I was hoping it would slight down after a moment but it didn't. Mr Oberoi hadn't arrived yet! The darkness and the silence surrounding the room, indicated it was almost midnight.
I attempted to reach towards the cell laying on the table. The pain was getting unbearable. My body somehow managed to grab the cell. The shivering hands and tearful orbs was making it difficult to dial a number. I clicked the first name popping on the call log.
The cell rang for few seconds before his deep authorative yet concerned voice fell into my ears.
"The pain is getting..." I couldn't even continue as I felt a sharp pain in my stomach. I was feeling as if I was going to die. It was so painful.
"Aachal? Rose?" His voice was filled with rush, worry. "Calm down, I will be there in few minutes. Just hold on!" He was pleading with me, his voice sounding urgent. I nodded as I closed my orbs in pain. I trusted him, the panick sliding away. He would reach on time. I was trying to calm down but the pain was making it impossible.

The crying voice of baby was echoing in the room. I was attempting to process the things happening around. The last thing I could recollect was calling Mr Oberoi. I sighed as I attempted to open my orbs.It was still night! The dimness surrounding the room indicated it. But it wasn't our room, it wasn't Mr Oberoi's room but a different one. I glance at the surrounding with curiosity. Had I reached hospital on time?
I reached for my stomach. I had delivered the baby? I stared around in anxiety. My brows frowned in anxious. A figure approached me, he was standing in the dark but as he moved forward, my heart accelerated at the highest speed.
"Our baby," Mr Oberoi had a huge smile playing on his lips. My orbs darted to the baby in his arms. "You have gifted me with a mini version of yourself." I had never seen the human before me filled with such happiness.
He walked towards me, leaning so I could glance at the tiny figure in his arms. My heart overjoyed at the sight of the baby in his arms. "He is so small..." Mr Oberoi continued, "I was so scared to carry him. What if I would harm it?" He kept blabbering, a version of him that I hadn't ever discovered. "But I didn't!" He passed me a sweet smile.
My heart melted at the sight of it. A baby in the arms of another baby. That broad smile, those black orbs sparkling in a joy. "Those eyes," he whispered. His orbs moving to glance at me. "Just like you," he kept gazing at me with so much love and admiration. He was proud of me, his orbs were yelling it. I had never feel so valued or admired ever in my life.
"Mumma..." The voice startled us. Riddhi came rushing into the room. "Mumma," she had a complaining pout covering her face. She reached to the bed. Disappointment covering her face.
"What's the matter?" I stared at her in concern, attempting to get up but Mr Oberoi offered me with a glare.
"Mumma, it's not a girl." There was clear disappointment in her orbs. I stared at her with adoration.
"Aww... Baby..." I extended my hands for her to move towards me.
"Aachal, you need rest!" Mr Oberoi warned, "princess, mumma needs rest. Why don't you play with your brother, till than?"
"No! I don't like him!" Riddhi stamped her foot in annoyance. And she walked out of the room in frustration, I stared at him in concern.
