Naina POV :-
One month has passed, me and Edward being in relationship, and it is one of the best thing happened to me. our bond also has became very strong and at every night he will sneak to my room and we both cuddle to sleep .
my family also postponed their visit to new York which is today and finally they are gonna come here . Me and shreya didn't go to college today as they are coming and we are going to airport to pick them up, Edward insisted of staying but I forced him to go to his company as he had an important meeting and he can come after he finishes it. Even ishika would come by afternoon.
"Shreya hurry up, we are gonna be late for the airport" I shouted waiting for shreya . " I am here , come let's go " shreya said coming out of her room and we both left for the airport booking a cab. As I know while returning back we will have our personal driver and car.
Soon we reached the airport , and after ten minutes I could see my family coming out from private terminal. I was so happy and damn I missed them a lot. Finally my brother noticed us and waved his hand , I smiled at him.. All were walking towards us smiling happily. And my stupid brother rahul ran towards me and hugged me tightly I was about trip and fall but I managed to balance and hugged him back tightly. I chuckled and said "idiot , I would have been fallen. " ,
"I missed you so much sis" he said breaking the hug and pouting. I ruffled his hairs "I missed you too my little brother" he frowned " I am not a kid , I am grown up" me and shreya both chuckled at him and at the same time my parents, sister and brother in law Came towards us.
"Idiot can't you Wait for us" my sister said smacking rahul's head. He sticked out his tongue and turned his face .we all chuckled at his childishness. I went and hugged both my parents "how are you naina?" My dad asked breaking the hug. I smiled and said "I'm perfectly fine dad" and my continued "we can see that naina, your smiling so often and we are happy for the change " I gave a small smile nodding at her, yes she is right I am smiling so often and changing back to old naina , I guess it's because of Edward. "Naina , where are you lost?" my sister asked smirking at me, I think she guessed it, I cleared my throat and said "ok ok, come let's live now and we can speak rest at home" all nodded and as I expected a car was waiting for us. Soon we left for the flat.
As soon as we reached our house ,I served them some fruit juice and sat with them In the hall.
"Naina, where is ishika you said you will call her right?". My mom asked eagerly.
"Mom she is having some important class and she will come by afternoon don't worry." my mom nodded and i asked her "mom, why you're so eager to meet her?" My mom sighed and said "nothing naina, that name is familiar for me, so I wanted to see her " I nodded.
We heard door bell ring while were chatting casually, I went to open the door and it was Edward he was looking a bit nervous, I let him in and chuckled at how nervous he was "what , its my first time meeting you're parents, so I am nervous" he said seeing me suppressing my laugh. I pinched his cheeks and said "my cutie pie don't worry ,they won't eat you" and our chat was broken by mom shouting "naina who is it?" I looked towards Edward and nodded assuring him and we both went to the living room. Except shreya all were looking at Edward confused and I guess Edward was feeling awkward.
"Naina who is he?" My dad asked breaking the silence. " Dad, he is Edward and also ishika's elder brother and Edward he is my dad 'VIKRAM RATHOD' " . I finally said my dad and our surname , I looked towards Edward for reaction as expected he was shocked and surprised. He looked towards me "yeah ,Edward you're guess is right, I am one of the world richest business man daughter 'Naina Rathod' and even shreya is 'shreya verma' which is also one of the richest family " I said finally saying him about our family name. He still looked a bit shocked, but his trance was broken by mom "Edward , son come and sit here". He smiled nodding and went towards my dad "I am sorry , Mr.Rathod I didn't recognize you and myself I am 'Edward knight' " he shook his hands with my dad , my dad smiled and nodded saying "it's ok son,please take a seat ". Edward took place opposite to them and introduced himself to everyone .
"So finally I met the great cold and ruthless billionaire Mr.Edward knight" my dad said and Edward laughed awkwardly, my dad chuckled and said "don't worry son, in fact I am proud of you at such a young age you created you own empire" Edward looked relief ,I smiled at how good they are getting along. I saw my mom she was lost in her thoughts and fidgeting her hands , "mom, are you ok?" I asked breaking her thought's, "I am ok naina" she smiled and nodded, "sujatha I know what you're thinking, even I am thinking the same " now my dad spoke and we all were confused what are they speaking about. "What are you speaking about dad?" Rahul asked , and we all looked towards them for answer, but dad looked towards Edward and asked "Edward , son , can I ask you something ?". Edward nodded saying "sure you can ask sir". My dad sighed and asked "Edward , can you tell you're parents name if you don't mind ?" Oh god what are they asking, I thought they were suspicious about me and Edward but they are asking about his parents. But I didn't interfere , we all were just silent and listening to them.
"Sir ,my dad is ' Charles knight ' and mom is.." before edward could complete my mom said " shivika .." We all are were shocked and even Edward looked shocked and surprised "what how do you know her name?" Edward asked and we were curious. i looked towards my mom she had tears "vikram finally we found them, finally.." She said and broke out crying I ran towards my mom and hugged her.even my dad had tears .now I was totally getting irritated,they were not saying anything. "Mom stop crying and dad why is mom crying and how you guys know Edward parents ?"
My dad quickly wiped his tears and said "Edward we are you're parents best friends and we studied together in London." my dad said and my mom continued "and naina the recipe book you have is his mothers book" we all were surprised , suddenly my mom got up from her seat and went towards Edward " Edward son, if you don't mind can I hug you? " Edward was in still in shock I guess, but he just nodded and hugged her, after a while they broke their hug and mom sat next to him " you know Edward you are just like your dad except the hairs, " Edward chuckled and said "yes ,sir it's like my mom she had chocolate brown hairs" mom and dad smiled nodding at them. "Wait I got some snacks from India I'll go and get it and Edward call us uncle and aunty" my mom said and got up excitedly and walked towards kitchen , we all chuckled at her excitement , my dad said "she is just happy that she finally met you " Edward smiled nodding and asked "so you guys are the other two musketeers of the college ,my mom and dad used to say" my dad nodded excitedly and asked "so they used speak about us ?" Edward said "yes , but they never told your names, whenever I asked they use to dodge the question" my dad gave a small smile and said "we have our own reasons son, so even when naina asked about it we never told their names" I nodded agreeing to him, we all were smiled looking at my dad .
but me and Edward suddenly froze as we heard dad asking "Edward how are they, can you take us to meet them, they have hidden for so long now I won't leave that guy, and we will give them surprise". My dad spoke very excitedly, but me ,Edward and shreya just froze listening to him,
'Oh God,they don't know uncle and aunty are no more, how will mom take it after they listen to it '
I looked at Edward even he was shock as me ,but I guess he was nervous too ,I went towards him and sat next to him , took his hand in mine and nodded assuring him we have to say, he nodded and took a deep breath and said "uncle, actually 9 years back they died in an accident." That's it finally Edward said and suddenly we heard a glass and vessels shattering sound and it was my mom who just came out of kitchen,oh god I guess she heard it, she suddenly fainted and was about to fall "MOM!!" We all ran towards her ,thank god rahul caught her as he was near her, but she was unconscious I looked towards my dad he didn't even move from his place, he was just shocked and freezed in his place.
"Rahul, take mom to room and shreya and di go with them " they nodded and left, now only me ,Edward and aditya jiju(brother in law) were there.
I went to dad and shook him "dad , are you fine?. Here drink water" he came out of his trance and drank water.
"Naina how is your mom?".I sighed and said "dad don't worry ,I guess she just fainted due to shock" he nodded and we all walked towards the room .
my dad sat next to mom and was caressing her hairs. We were admiring them.
