Found The Lost (ON HOLD)

chapter 20

Naina pov:-

After the dance performance i went to the washroom to wash my face and  take  off the makeup as i had to get ready for my next performance.after washing my face i was walking in the corridor.But suddenly out of no where someone cought my wrist and pulled me into an empty classroom.It was in a fraction of seconds i didn't even realize how to get rid of him and was frightened i was about to shout but that person kept his palm on my mouth and said he was edward. I sighed in relief.

He was so close to me and speaking, my heart was beating so fast due to the closeness we had and when he started caressing my cheeks i kind of shivered to the touch.Seeing me shivered he smirked. I know he knew what he was doing to me..idiot..but i liked it when i was close to him. I kind of felt right and  safe in his arms but when he moved back i kind of missed his warmth, later i quickly left from there and went to get ready....

I wore a black long slit gown and put light makeup with matt red lipstick and put my hair into messy bun leaving few strands of hair in front..

"Wow naina you look gorgeous..damn every guys eyes would be on you today " shreya said looking at me when she said that i remembered  edward and blushed a little..

"Wow what surprises are you giving me naina, the person who never blushed is blushing today....are hiding anything for me?" shreya asked suspiciously

"No I'm not hiding anything and u complimented me so i blushed..don't use your brain much" i said avoiding her eyes..

"Ok i will go now it's my turn " i said as soon as host announced my name and thanked..so i could escape from shreya's question..

When i went on stage my heart was beating fast..may be because edward would be there..i tried to ignored these foriegn feelings and started singing song..through out the song i was staring at edward and singing.i could not take my eyes of him. The song which i was singing was exact feelings i was feeling for edward and at last i broke the eye contact to not to be suspicious. After my performance i went back. As soon as i went back my four friends shreya ,advika ,ryan and lewis complimented me and left early.Now only me and shreya were there.she was looking at me suspiciously..

"What,why are you looking at me like that?"i asked her..

"You like edward right ?" she asked suddenly i waa shocked..

I avoided her eyes aand stuttered.."what..n-no..i don't like him"

"Well you know your song was kind of indirect confession and also you were staring at Edward and singing" she said smirking at me..

"Nothing like that..the song was nice and staring at him..no i was not ..i just saw him because he was one of the audience i know ..that's it..don't overthink"i said at one go

"Ohh..reallyy..well naina ..i know you in and out very well..you  can't deny that"she said..ya..it is true she know me in and out..i can't hide anything to her..

I sighed and said .."yeah i like him"

She hugged me squealed happily..

"Oye..chill its just i like him..we are not dating ok..so u can be so happy"i said

"Don't worry..you will soon"she said winking at me

"Shut up now don't start teasing me"i whined

"Will see that.." She said and ran to washroom..

I just sat there and saw the towel of hers on table. I got a naughty idea.I took face powder and put it on towel  folding it so that when she wipes her face ..her face will be filled with white powder..

She came out from washroom i acted as if I'm busy in my phone..i was controlling my laugh.I burst out laughing when i heard her shout

"Naina ..you idiot..wth did you do"she said

"What did i do"i said innocently but stiffling with laugh

"Don't act too innocent you just wait here..i will wash my face and come..don't try to run"she warned me

But i ran from there, while i was running i crashed into a wall and was about to fall but pair of hands cought me wrapping around my waist then i realized i didn't crash into wall but a person and i recognized him by his familiar smell.yes it was edward..we were drowned into eachothers eyes we didn't even realize other's were her. Later his friends cleared the throat and we separated. I was blushing like a tomato..thank god shreya came and saved me from awkwardness..later we introduced to his friends lucas and william.Lucas was staring lovingly at shreya..may be he likes her..i was not sure..i thought of asking edward later..

After few minutes they bid bye and went...

Me and shreya also left to our home ..

After reaching home i entered my room to change but before i go to my closet my phone pinged with a message notification. Isaw the name and was a bit surprised..
