chapter 19

Edward pov:-

I came back and took place in my seat.William and lucas were looking at me and grinning like idiots..

i got irritated and asked

"Why are you guys grinning like idiots"

"Well did you go to washroom"william asked

"Yes"i asnwered

"Did you finish your washroom business"william asked smirking

"Yes" i said

"Did you meet her" lucas asked

I was still in the thoughts of naina i didn't know what they were asking and answered in trance ...later i realized what i said "Yes..what no..what are you guys saying?"

"You very well know what we are saying.."lucas said grinning like an idiot

"No i don't know and just shut up and watch the program or else i won't allow you to meet shreya" i said smirking at him, now i can make him shut by shreya's name may be.

"No no..ok I'll be quiet .."he said and kept quiet..

'Wow shreya what have you done to him.He didn't even meet you yet and he is so eager to know you that he even stopped teasing me..' I thought..

"Ok now let us welcome naina on the stage please"i heard the host saying and i waited eagerly..

'what would she perform now. Is this the surprise she was talking about.' I was thinking when i heard a guitar sound and there was naina standing  in the middle of the stage with the mic and spot light on her..

'Wow she looks so hot and gorgeous' i thought..

'Yeah..look all guys are staring at her ' my mind said..

I looked around all were staring at her some were admiring her some were eye rapping her..

'I wish i could pull out thier eyes..idiots' i thought..

My anger was melted by listening to her voice. She was closing her eyes and started  to play tune and she opened her eyes and she saw me, her eyes met mine..

Through out the song she was staring at me and singing. Wow again i was mesmerized by her voice and this time she sang an english song. It was like she was saying everything to me and at last few minutes before the song finish she averted her eyes from me..

'Damn she is gonna be death of me. I'm damn sure  now that even she likes me after listening to her song which she sang staring right at me, i feel like going and kissing her senselessly not caring about the world but i can't do that because she may conveyed her feelings indirectly to me but not directly.And i am so happy today that even she like me...yayyy!..my heart was dancing in happiness..' I was smiling like an idiot..i didn't realize lucas was calling me..

"Edward are you ok..?" He asked being surprised

"Yeah yeah..I'm ok but why?"..i asked being confused

"Because you are smiling like an idiot that to who never smiles for eveny silly jokes now you are smiling. I guess we have to go for doctor..come lets go" lucas said being dramatic

I smack his head replying "just shut up..i am alright"

"Well edward...how was the song?" william asked smirking

"It was good.i liked it"i answered..

"Was the song you like or the girl because you know i saw her staring at you and even you were staring.."william said

"Shut up..there is nothing like that.."i said and tried to change the topic..

"Ok come lets go.It's time up. I have to complete some of work and reply to emails"i said and thank god both of them agreed and we left but i was kind of wanting to meet naina but with these idiots i can't. We were going out of the auditorium.Someone crashed into him i cought the person by waist and pulled closer and 'damn ..god as listened to me i guess because it was naina in my arms..wow she was perfect in my arms and felt right. We were drowned into eachothers eyes we didn't realize we have audience here' we came out of trance  when we heard lucas and william clearing their throat and i made her to stand properly and moved a bit back....

"Sorry" she said and her face was fully flushed and was looking like a tomato..very cute..

"Its ok..be careful"i said smiling at her and heard shreya's voice coming back of her..

"Yaar naina.Stand there itself and don't even try to run.Edward don't allow her to run.."she said coming near and panting may be because she ran till here

Naina came behind me and tried to hide behind me and saying to shreya.."shreya please i am sorry. I won't do it again, you were teasinge continuously so i did that prank. I am really sorry..forgive me"

"Ok i will forgive you because I'm happy to see you again like this doing pranks.."shreya said smiling . Naina went and hugged her tightly..

'I didn't understand what shreya said that naina used to do pranks..but now she is not like that..' i thought

"Hello girls even we are here.How come you can't see a handsome man is standing here..i am hurt "lucas said playfully pouting and placing his hand on his chest

We chuckled at him.Naina and shreya looked at me as if asking who are they but before i answer lucas answered..

"If you guys look at him. He will not answer today.It will take years to answer.Let us introduce ourselves" he said and earned a smack from me..

And he said "well i am lucas carson and  he is william anderson , we are bestfriends of our dear edward" both lucas and william shook hands and introduced themselves..

"Hi I'm shreya and she is my bestfriend  naina" shreya said and shook her hands..

"Yeah.Edward told us about you being the neighbors, actually we are kind of surprised that our edward who doesn't even care about anyone he know the names of the girls who met only few times" lucas said making me awkward..

"Ok guys lets go it's late.we have work..bye naina and shreya" i said and dragged them out or else they will embarass me more

"Bro..i still didn't even talk to shreya properly"lucas said pouting

William smacked and said"shut up..I'm single here, if you both will be busy with your partners what will i do"

"I don't care.Edward this weekend which is they after tomorrow.I'm coming to your flat that's it" lucas said and ran away to his car before i say anything..

I shook my head and bid bye to william and even i left to home thinking about naina and todays event..

'It was one of the the best day of my life' i said myself and was smiling like an idiot while driving to home..
