Chapter 8: A Cozy Night Doesn't Mean I Have Weird Dreams..

A/N: Heyyy guys. It's the author talking :)..I very sorry for not posting new chapters as i promised. I guess you can say I forgot about the story and became lazy lol. But now I've decided to write the story again. I hope you enjoy :)

   As soon as fell asleep I had a weird dream....
"-EI!! MEI! MEI!!!" The strange female like voice yelled "do you remember our deal?" I tried to talk back. What deal? I don't remember any deal. I wanted to say those words but nothing came out of my mouth. Why was that? I remember being able to talk...Why can't I talk...help me. I want to answer you! I can't answer you. How do I reply to your question?

I tried reaching out to this person but I couldn't touch her. She vanished and then came back immediately. It was as if she was a ghost. She asked the same question.
"Do you remember our deal?" I tried to answer her again but nothing came out of my mouth "Do you remember our deal?" I tried to talk. I tried and tried and tried and tried! But I couldn't. can't this person see I couldn't talk. Why won't this person help me. Help me....I want to be able to talk!
"Do you remember our deal?" The voice asked again "Do. You. Remember. Our. Deal?" It was now in a threatening voice. It was warning me to answer or else something would happen.

I once again tried to make my voice work. But I couldn't....it didn't want to work.  I tried and tried and tried....it didn't work. Why....WHY? Why wasn't is working when I wanted it to? WHY??

I looked up at the figure, I couldn't see it's face but it had a women figure so I believe it was a woman. I hope she spares me. She looks very powerful. She lifted up her arm towards me. She was going to hit me for sure...she kept going closer...and closer...and closer....and......!

I woke up from the dream. What was that? I was too scared to even go back to sleep. I looked at the clock and it's 6:65. Almost devil night (midnight in this world).  I decided to stay up for a bit and explore my "large" room. I walked around the room almost bored and ready to fall asleep again...man does this body get any sleep? I guess not...

I eventually stopped and sat down on a chair that stared out at my window. The scenery was absolutely beautiful. I looked at the dark yet bright blue skies covered with twinkling stars. They were shining so bright that I almost forgot that this a place where abnormal creatures live. I guess life can be beautiful even in a place like this...
"Beautiful..." I whispered.Those were the last words that I could say before sleep took over me.

I'm glad that I was able to see the beautiful scenery.....before....I was taken over by sleep.....

REN's POV:

I couldn't sleep well. I had a nightmare so I wen't to my ex-carer Taka-kun! I went over to his office. I still can't get over the fact that his door is so big....ignoring that I knocked as loud as I could so he could here me.

*knock knock*

There was silence....he probably didn't hear me....

*Knock Knock*

I knocked again but louder. I got silence again.....so I did it louder

*KNOCK KNOCK*

I still got the silent treatment....why? I mean I'm a cute cheerful girl! I'm totally trustworthy! I tried again...

*KNOCK KNOCK*

He should be able to hear me now. I knocked the loudest I could. No more silent treatments...

I waited.......

And waited.....

And waited some more.........

And I kept waiting.....

Is he not able to hear me? He's always in his office now a days....why isn't he answering? He knows damn well that I can't open the door because of how weak I am....so why....?

I ended up leaving and going to Sora's room. I knocked very  loud enough for only her to hear me....

*Knock Knock*

Sora's POV:

I woke up to a loud-ish knock on my door. I went up to open the door. When I did I didn't see anyone....weird
"Down here!" Someone shouted. That voice sounds familiar.."Look down!" I did exactly that. I saw Ren. What was she doing here?
"I had a nightmare!  Let me sleep with you!"
"Uh....." was all I could say..that was straightforward...
"I'll take that as a yes!" She decided "I'm coming in!"

She barged into my room and jumped on my bed. This girl honestly....why did I even  opened my room door?
"Let's sleep together...come on, get on the bed,". I sighed and looked at her face. She was dead serious...very....
"Fine..." I went over to the bed and tucked her in. I got in myself and went straight to bed, she didn't seem to like that...

I tried to go to sleep immediately but Ren had other plans...
"YOUR SUPPOSED TO SING MY A LULLABY!!" She complained
"Like a....human...?" I asked...tired
"YES!"
"Well...you aren't one...."
"HMP! WELL I COMMAND YOU AS THE DEMON LORD TO SING ME A LULLABY!!"
"No-"
"If you don't I won't pay you"
'Is she stupid? I don't want-' "Ok I'll do it," my stupid mouth...well it's not really my mouth....
"Hehe...ok, sing it to me!"
"Ugh!' I started to sing(the video above is the song)......

After I finished I found Ren fast asleep...I couldn't help but smile. she's a troublemaker for sure...
