The following morning Florence wakes up early to Tullis pawing at her nose. "Good morning to you too" Florence greets her cat as she rubs the sleep out of her eyes and shifts in her bed to take Tullis in her arms to pet for a bit.

After a couple of minutes, Florence lets Tullis go and he jumps off of the bed and begins to scratching the door to be let out of the dorm. Valerie Monet, the closest to the door, opens it for the cat to get out.

Florence thanks Valerie quietly. "No problem," whispers the blonde fifth year prefect so as to not wake up the rest of their roommates.

"Why does he always do that by the way? Once you wake up he wants to leave the dorm" Valerie asked Florence.

"It might be that he wants to get out to use the bathroom. He does the same thing at home," explains Florence.

"Ah," their conversation comes to an end and both girls begin to get dressed and ready for the first day of classes.

As Florence was walking down the stairs into the common room, so was Cedric. Cedric sees the Ramos girl and swiftly walks over to her. The couple greets each other with a kiss on the cheek.

"Ready to head over for breakfast?" Florence asks her boyfriend.

"Yes ma'am" Cedric says with a grin. Florence chuckles at how Cedric responds and gives him a small playful shove, leading to Cedric laughing.

The couple then begins to make their way out of the Hufflepuff basement to go get breakfast in the Great Hall.

Just as the couple sits down at the Hufflepuff table, Logan and Elodie make their way over from where they was sitting at the Slytherin table to sit across from them at the Hufflepuff table.

"Morning lovebirds," Logan greets her best friends.

"Morning Ced, morning Lorrie" says Elodie in a tired voice, still sleepy.

"Morning" both Hufflepuffs greet back.

"Snape gave us our timetables a couple minutes ago, so Sprout should come by with your timetables soon" Logan informs her friends, with both Hufflepuffs giving her a "thanks."

"I hope we have divination together" Logan tells Florence.

"Same" Florence responds as her and Logan both reach out their hands for the other to take for a couple of seconds. Since Cedric, Elodie, Valerie, and one of Logan's Slytherin friends  take arithmancy rather than divination, Florence and Logan wouldn't have any friends from their respective houses to share the class with.

"If either of us ends up having divination with the Gryffindors, only Angie and Alicia will make it bearable. But they tend to sit together," complains Logan.

"Because it's so hard to sit with your twin when he spends his time with Fred and George messing around in class?" Elodie asks his Slytherin friend.

"Yes! But I suppose in their defense they have to keep up their reputation of being the biggest pranksters of Hogwarts" Logan gives her brother and his friends the benefit of the doubt.
