Chapter 5 - Werewolves are Welcome to Seabrook

Y/N POV

As everyone was cheering and shouting, I covered my ears but still cheered since it was my brother. "As your president, I will make Seabrook a place that embraces zombies and..." Zed said but was cut off by Bree saying "WEREWOLVES?!".

Zed immediately replied "Uh, no. Why would we want..." Zed paused as he looked at the entrance and screamed "Werewolves!".

We all immediately looked behind us to see the werewolves. Surprisingly, I wasn't scared because the only thing I was thinking about is the pain in my ears.

The curly-haired girl looked at me "There she is!" She said as I made eye contact with her. Zed immediately shouted to protect me "Football Team!, Defense, Z 24." which made the football team circle me.

"Where's the moonstone, white hair?" The curly-haired girl asked while looking straight into my E/C eyes. "Me?" I asked confusingly as I then turned my attention to the guy beside her. He had white bangs and brown hair.

'His hair... It looks familiar..' I thought as I was snapped out of my thoughts by the curly-haired girl. "Yes, you!" She said as she looked at me. "I think you've got the wrong person!" I shouted as I wasn't scared a tiny bit.

I looked behind me as I saw Eliza smashing her Z-Band. Zed immediately stopped her as he said "Uh, Eliza? What are you doing?". Eliza immediately replied, "Let's smash our Z-Bands and zombie out. We can use our strength to fend them off".

Zed immediately stopped her "We can't lose control. We are not monsters," he said as Eliza and he went into a fighting position.

"Our razor-sharp claws will gut 'em and splatter their blood" a girl with half of her top hair white. Everyone immediately screamed in fear as I tried holding back my laugh. "Too much?" The same girl said as I laughed out loud. Everyone looked at me including the werewolves.

Once I realized that everyone was looking at me, I immediately stopped laughing, but that didn't stop me from smiling.

Wyatt POV

When I saw her laughing and smiling, I smiled at her making her blush. I didn't sense any fear from her. Her scent was still the same, I was 100% sure she was the Great Alpha.

"Wolves! On my command!" Willa said as her eyes glowed amber and her moonstone glowed blue. The rest of the pack had also got amber eyes and their moonstones glowed blue. Everyone else had gotten scared but Y/N wasn't.

I immediately stopped the Willa "Willa" I said making her eyes go back to normal. "We can't go to war with the whole town. We'll never find the moonstone if they're on high alert" I whispered to the Willa as she scoffed.

"I hate it when you're right," Willa said as she shouted to the pack. "Wolves, stand down," She said as the rest of the pack stood down.

Y/N POV

I heard the guy whispering to the girl as I was thinking 'moonstone?' I thought as the wolves stood down. The girl did the fakest smile I have ever seen "Sorry. We werewolves so admire your town, and we just came here to join your school" She said as everyone around me was confused.

"What? They can't join our school" Bucky said in disgust as Coach replied "Technically the Forbidden Forest is within the school district" He said.

I smiled as I pushed the football players and stood in front of the wolves. I held out my hand as I smiled "So, welcome to Seabrook" I said as the guy shook my hand. Everyone around me was confused as they looked at me.

||A FEW HOURS LATER||

"Vote Zed for Prez," I said as I handed out flyers to the whole school. If Zed becomes the President, I'm going to be the Vice-president and Eliza will be the secretary. I mean what's the worse that could happen?

"Vote Zed for Prez, because he's a Zombie, not a zom-can't be," I said as I handed out flyers. "Okay, here's our platform. We fight for zombie toppings on pizza in the cafeteria" Eliza said as Zed replied "Right".

I immediately continued "Get zombie tongue taught as a second language". "Good idea Y/N/N" Zed praised me as he messed with my hair.

I smiled as Eliza continued talking "and how to overthrow your oppressors after school club" She said. "Eliza? Let's not promise too much" I said as Zed replied "Y/N is right.
But more importantly, we allow zombies at Prawn".

I rolled my eyes at what he said. 'What's so good about prawn?' I thought. "Good luck, Mr Future President," Addison said with a smile as she walked in.

Zed smiled back as Bree walked in super excited "Hey Zed, did you hear? Addie's being tested for captain, and she gets to run cheer practice tomorrow" Bree said

"It's not a big deal," Addison said as I and Zed raised an eyebrow. "Okay, it's huge," Addison said as I rolled my eyes. "A huge chance to fail!" One of the Aceys shouted. "If Addie aces this practice, oh my gosh, she's so going to be cheer captain once Bucky wins. He's so gonna win because you know, elections, they're just like these big old popularity contests and Bucky is super popular" Bree said as I looked over to Zed.

I gave Bree a 'seriously' look as Zed looked hurt. "Thanks, Bree" Zed said as his voice cracked. "I know it's weird I'll only be cheer captain if Bucky's president, but..." Addison said as Zed interrupted her.

"No, that just means neither of us can lose, because one of us is going to get what we want. And I can live with that" Zed said with a smile as Addison replied, "Me too. You'll do great, Zed". I sighed as we all worked together to hand out flyers.

||A FEW MINS LATER||

I was at my locker getting my books when I saw the wolves walk in. My eyes were focused on the guy with white bangs but then I heard the curly-haired girl who I have known to be Willa start talking. "These sheep just let us in? Baaaaad idea" she said as the guy whose name I don't know replied "We agreed to play nice"

"Oh, this is me being nice," Willa said as she scratched the lockers and stopped at mine. "Hello," I said as she looked at me up and down. "You have nice fashion style," Willa said as I smiled. "Why, thank you. Seabrook's fashion is not my type" I said as I looked at the guy with white bangs.

The wolves then walked away as I remembered where I saw the guy. 'FOUR EYES!!' I thought as I heard Zed walk in. "Y/N/N" Zed called me as I walked over to him.

"Hm?" I hummed as Zed talked "You should attend cheer practice tomorrow". I immediately shook my head as he talked "You have to Y/N please" Zed said. "Why do I have to go?!" I said in a whispered shout. "Addison's dream is to be cheer captain. I don't want her to give up her dream because of me. With you on cheer practice she'll be cheer captain" Zed replied as I sighed and said "Fine..."
