Chapter 4 - Student Council President

Third-Person POV

Addison was walking with Zed passing the Prawn Wall Of Fame. "I really thought we'd all be at the Prawn together. I thought Seabrook could change" Addison said sadly. Zed turned to her trying to give her some positive vibes "It did! Believe me, I will find a way to get us to the Prawn." Zed said trying to give Addison some hope.

Addison turned to Zed as she smiled "or we could miss it together?" Addison said as she smiled but Zed on the other hand didn't quite seem happy. "I'm not letting you miss the Prawn" Zed said in a concerned tone. He didn't want Addi to miss Prawn because it was an important event.

"If you can't go, I'm not going," Addison argued.
"Well, I like you too much not to let you go," Zed argued back.
"Well, I like you too much to leave you behind. I am so not going" Addison argued before Eliza and Y/N walked in.

Y/N as usual didn't talk to Addison. "Ugh, you guys even fight like a perfect couple," Eliza said as Y/N rolled her eyes. Addison chuckled "How's it going, Eliza, Y/N?" Addison said with a smile. "You know, fighting injustice is keeping me busy," Eliza said with a smile. "And looking good doing it, Zom-bae," Addison said as she did a hand thing to Eliza. "And what about you Y/N?" Addison said with a smile as she turned to Y/N.

"Oh me? I'm fine! Just screaming mentally because of the stupid anti-monster laws" Y/N said sarcastically as she rolled her eyes. Zed elbowed Y/N in the ribs making Y/N hiss in pain.

Y/N POV

I heard Bucky talking in a distance as Addison, Eliza, and Zed were talking to each other. "I'm thinking the student president should get his own corner office. Let's see if we can move out the F/S department".

I was shocked after what Bucky said 'He's gonna move out the F/S department?! But that's my favourite subject!' I said as I glared at Bucky from a distance. He then turned to face us "Addison! Time to officially nominate me as president," he said with his annoying voice and his smile before walking off.

I could still hear him talking to JC as Addison started talking. "Cheer could be so much more than just pom-pomming for Bucky," Addison said. This isn't the first time I agreed with Addison. Yet I never verbally said that I agreed with her.

"Uh, Addison? Once we're cheer captain, you are so off the team" One of Bucky's minions said. Addison immediately talked back "And when I'm cheer captain, you'll be welcome to stay, because I'll be making cheer about bringing people together," She said which made me a bit... Impressed...

Hmm... So it's not all hate.

Bucky's minions just laughed it off.
"That was awful trash talk."
"I know, right? You will never be cheer captain, freak"
Bucky's minions said as they looked from Addison to me.

I felt my hand clenching into a fist but Zed immediately signalled me to calm down. The 2 Aceys took Addison as they walked away. I sighed as I calmed down.

"I gotta find a way to get us to the Prawn," Zed said as he turned to me and Eliza. "We can crash it" Eliza suggested. I smiled "I mean, we can't make the rules, but we can break 'em!" I said enthusiastically.

Zed snapped his fingers as he looked at me "You're a genius Y/N/N! We can make the rules! We just need the right leader!" Zed said as he put his arm on my shoulder. It took me a minute to know what he meant.

'oh no...' I thought as Zed, Eliza and me walked to where everyone else had gathered.

"Okay, are there any more nominees for president?" Principal Lee said as everyone cheered. "Just a reminder that being part of student council means that we get to hang" Principal Lee joked. I was super cringed out as she continued "Anybody, anybody wants to hang?" She said while everyone just exchanged looks.

Cringed? What's that?

"Just... anyone wants to hang out? Anyone?" Principal Lee said as everyone was silent. "Oh, we could come up with our very own complicated high five. That'd be fun huh? Like..." She said as she did something with her hands.

The band started playing fanfare as people started cheering "Go! Go! Go!" They cheered as Bucky made an entrance. The cheerleaders cheered with their pom poms but of course, the Aceys cheered louder. I was beside Eliza as I tried looking around for Zed. Bucky walked up the stage as Principal Lee was about to high-five him but he dodged it.

"Great news, we have a brilliant and cheer-tested candidate running for president this year. Me!" Bucky said as everyone continued cheering in the background.

'oh really? Where's this brilliant candidate?? I don't see 'em' I thought as I let out a soft chuckle. Everyone cheered and chanted Bucky's name. I sighed as I covered my ears because of the loud noises.

As the chanting continued someone went rolling down the stairs. The chanting stopped and only Bucky was chanting his name. Someone pushed Bucky, it was Zed?! Everyone started cheering as Zed acted like falling was part of his plan.

"Hello, everyone. My name is Zed, and I am running for president" Zed said as everyone started cheering louder. "Zed can't steal my spotlight. What about the whole anti-monster thingy?" Bucky said looking disturbed.

I stood up in front of everyone "Everyone can run for president, Bucky!" I shouted looking a bit mad. To my surprise, Principal Lee backed me up "She actually has a point, Mr Bucky" She said as I smiled. I was cheering on the inside when I saw Bucky looking super furious.

"A zombie president?! Ew!" The Aceys shouted looking disgusted. Everyone started cheering and yet I had to cover my ears because of the too much noise.

"As the first ever zombie president, I will allow zombies to do to the Prawn, I will take Addison as my date, and we will get our photo on the Prawn Wall Of Fame. Maybe they'll rename the school after me one day. Zed Necrodopolis High. Preferably before I graduate" Zed said as I rolled my eyes when he said he'll take Addison to Prawn.

"Okay! If you vote for me, I will bring you prosperity and awesomeness!" Zed said as everyone cheered wildly. I covered my ears even though, I knew I would still hear the loud cheering. Everyone chanted Zed's name as I joined in even though my ears rang.

That's the spirit!

Wyatt POV

We went out of the vent as we heard some people shouting. "The Great Alpha's near," I said as I could smell Y/N. "Focus. Remember, we're fierce, we're savage" Willa said as Wynter continued "We're werewolves!" She said.

"That's right, Wynter," Willa said.
"We're afraid of nothing," Wynter said with a smirk.
"Except silver," I said.
"Yeah, silver" Wynter said while her smirk was wiped off her face.
"And ticks" I continued looking a bit scared.
"And rabies" Wynter continued

"Come on, if we're quiet, we can be in and out of here before they even know we're here," I said as I suddenly heard one of the wolves yelped in pain. The wolf threw one of Seabrook's silver trophies as the others caught it and threw it again.

It landed on Wynter's hands as she yelped "Ah, silver! Oh, pain! I can take it" she said as she held the silver cup while her hands were burning. "No, I can't!" She said as she threw the cup in the air and I caught it on the bottom.

"Nice grab. Come on" Willa said as the rest of the wolves followed her. I put the trophy by the side as I followed.

Boo, it's a cliffhanger!! Sorry, not sorry!
