Chapter 12 - Impossible Love?

HIIII!!! Yes I am publishing just a day and a half after my last chapter since I'm not sure I'll be active for next week so I'm trying my best to make a new chapter everyday.

Y/N POV

Suddenly, I heard a small sound like something hitting the rocks. When I looked and see, I saw Zed rushing towards Addison as he shouted "ADDISON!". "Zed!" Addison looked towards Zed with a confused look as he stood in front of Addison. "Don't make me take this off! You don't wanna see me zombie out!"

For some unknown reason, Wyatt stood in front of me protectively as he growled at Zed with the other wolves. I was actually flattered by this but I heard Zed's Z-Band was removed and it threw itself to the side. As I looked back at Zed, he was already starting to zombie out and growled loudly like a monster. Of course, the wolves also snarled at him but he just wouldn't stop and told everyone to stay back.

"Stay behind me" I heard Wyatt whisper as I looked around worriedly. What if Zed destroys their den?! I looked around trying to look for a way to help and then I saw Zed's Z-Band. I immediately ran to the Z-Band and took it, when I saw Zed throw a werewolf to the wall. Addison was trying her best to calm Zed down but it was no use.

"No! Stop!" I shouted as I ran over to Zed and put on his Z-Band. He immediately turned back to normal as I sighed in relief. I thought I would collapse but luckily I caught my balance.

"Zed! I want to be here." Addison told Zed with a bit of a disappointed look but of course, Zed was confused and could only say "What?". Bree then stuttered and said "But... But you texted "Help!" she said as she showed her phone screen.

"Dude! We needed help on the chemistry homework!" I started and then Addison ended with "Didn't you see the beaker emoji?" she looked at Bree with a 'seriously' look after she just saw the beaker emoji at the bottom. "Oh... I do now. Oh and by the way, I love this new look! New hairstylist?" Bree said as she laughed awkwardly and changed the subject.

“Werewolves. They know hair” Addison said to Bree with a smile as Zed just stood there by her side. “And manicures” Wynter added as she showed her beautiful nails. The werewolves around just agreed with a smile and looked at each other.

“They think Y/N and I may be a werewolf too” Addison said as  she took Zed's hands. I just smiled weirdly at Zed knowing that he won't like the idea of me, especially Addison being a wolf.

“What? How?” Zed said a bit angry but Addison just replied calmly “Maybe a grandparent. My hair means something. This could be my pack” she said with hope in her eyes.

I was quite worried of Addison because I know how broken she'll be if she's not actually a wolf. Willa then spoke up as she walked over to Addison, Zed and me. “For centuries, this has been set aside for the Great Alpha” Willa said as she opened a small box, and inside was a necklace, a moonstone and it shone brightly like a diamond.

“A fully charged moonstone is priceless to us, Addison” Wyatt said as she looked at Addison seriously. I admit, I was pretty hurt when he didn't even mention me or ever look at me, like I was just a side character.

“If you're truly one of us, when you put it on, you'll be transformed into a werewolf. Part of our pack, forever” Willa said offering the box to Addison. Zed didn't look quite happy with the idea of 'forever'. I took a step back letting them talk as they didn't even notice.
