House of Kesh:
"Vengeance Part 1"
The seven siblings manage to reach the scout ship and fled their home. As they move further away, in the main room the siblings watch every part of the once green surface of Planet Flos transformed into an infernal hell land. Mountains turn into volcanoes and oceans into large lakes of fire and rivers into streams of molten lava. There was no trace of anything living. Flowers flared in ashes as the wind funnels them up the sky. Uncontrolled forest fires ignited all trees to the point they could no longer sprout. And creatures native to the world burned down to the bone. This all happened in one moment. A single blast by the Lucenites.
Corvina, the oldest sister leaned against a corner and sat down to weep in denial. Akal walked up to her and stood by her. The brother of the twins struck the wall out of anger, striking a dent.
"They're coming back for us right?" Corvina said, "They said they'll come for us."
"They're not coming back," Kesh murmured.
"You don't know that-"
"They're not coming back, Corvina!" Kesh lost his composure and shouted across the main room. "They're dead. Dead. They sacrifice their life for us to live. And they knew they couldn't escape the inevitable."
Covina shed more tears.
"Kesh..." Akal said, his breathable mask made hard it to hear.
The others siblings trembled to his voice as it was the first time he has ever yelled.
"Akal, you and I have personally seen first hand what they can do." Kesh said, "what they're capable of and we need to act."
"What are you suggesting?" Akal asked.
Kesh unfolded his hand with one movement. A spear weapon hanging from a wall mount sensed Kesh calling for it. It leapt off the mount then clung onto his hand.
"Mother's Eyes"
Zannah stays in the shade by a tree as she glances at the field of flowers of the planet Flos and watches her son Kesh picking up flowers. Kesh sprints across the field back to his mother and began to show her the variety of flowers with unique appearances he had collected. He next then asked which flower she liked the best.Zannah takes a look, looking into their color and shape of them. But one flower catches her eye. It was a red rose. A flower her husband once gifted her since it matches her eye color. Thrilled, Zannah reaches for the red rose and then puts it beside her ear. She flashes a brief smile at the fact Kesh found her favorite flower because it was extremely rare on the planet.
"Let's go back home," Zannah suggested as she rose off the ground, "And hand me those flowers. I'll hold on to it."
He held her hand until they got home. Zannah grabbed an empty pot and began to pour it halfway with water. As she is preparing the flowers, Kesh suddenly asked about her bizarre eyes. Touching the side of her eye and taken aback she wasn't quite sure how to tell him, so she switch up the subject to avoid the question.
"Why don't you check up on your sister." She spoke softly.
Kesh didn't fuss or pester and though feeling stumped he just did as he was told. Feeling stumped herself, Zannah believes it was best if neither of her children knows.
