George POV:

After the night I left it hasn't been the same. When I got back to the headquarters I cried my eyes out to Phil telling him about all of the funny and happy memories that sadly won't have a sequel. And to make matters worse Karl wasn't here to comfort me. He was next in line to be Clay's bodyguard.

I hope Clay misses me too. I hope he remembers that I love him. I wish I knew that he missed me, but all I can do is hope.

Currently it's midnight and I'm in my room in the spy headquarters eating a box of chocolate and binge watching my favorite romance movies. I did this to try and imagine my happy ending but I ended up just wondering why I don't have a happy ending.

Then I started to realize how dumb romance is. You read all these book and watch all these movies and films about love, and you get excited to meet the one. But the movies and books can't prepare you for a bad ending. In real life your story is never done until you die. And from the time you meet the 'one' between the time you have left to be alive a lot of stuff can happen. For example, right now.

I remember when I saw him for the first time and got memorized by his eyes and shiny crown. I remember when I was dreading going to the castle and walking up the hill all grouchy and closed off. I remember when I shut the door on his face because I was embarrassed. I remember all the times Karl teased me and gave me advice about my feelings. I even remember when everyone was staring at me for walking with the Prince, but now I would do anything to go to school with Dream.

I would do anything to dance with him under the bright lights again. I would do anything to be with him again. I would do anything to hug him again. I would do anything for a happy ending.

A loud echo comes from my earpiece.

"Agent 404, please report to the office in five."

Five minutes to get out of my current state. On the bed, in my pajamas, wearing fluffy socks, with really noticable eye bags and tear stains. I quickly get up and wash my face getting rid of the tear stains, melted chocolate on my face, and helping my eye bags look a little bit more better. I still looked absolutely exhausted though.

I flipped through all my articles of clothing to find my perfectly fitted leather spy suit. I practically rip off my pajamas and put on my suit. I try my best to put it on as fast as I can but it's leather, who can do that?

I exchange my fluffy socks for a pair of black socks instead. I put on some black heel boots and book it out the door.

I rush to the elevator and let the thing scan me.

"Agent 404, access granted."

I push the button eagerly and watch the stone doors close. I tap my foot while waiting. 'What could Philza possibly want?'  Yesterday when I was finally done rambling all about Dream to him, he told me that I could take a break from missions, so this has to be something really important. But what could be so urgent? I start to get nervous. Philza never breaks his word. I pick at my nails and bite my tongue.

The elevator comes to a stop and the thick stone walls slowly part. Philza's sitting in his chair facing the elevator with his arms crossed.

"Phil?"

"George, you're probably wondering what I'm calling you here for because yesterday I told you that you can take a break, but this is an emergency."

"I'm listening."

I say stepping out of the elevator and into his office.

Philza grabs a file from his desk and holds it in his hands instead of giving it to me right away.

"It's about the royal family."

I sigh and look at the floor.

"You already know I'm not with them anymore-"

"It's the Prince."

My eyes widen and I tilt my head up again bringing my full attention to Philza.

"What about him."

"Well, this is a task that Karl can't do alone. Something bad has happened."

I roll my eyes and tap my foot impatiently.

"Stop stalling, just say it."

"The Prince has been kidnapped."

My jaw drops and I start to panic. I pace around the room going back and forth waiting for Philza to say something else, but he waits until I stop walking.

"The people who left the death threat are holding him hostage. You're leading the group. They'll be ten spies with you including Karl. Everything's in the file. You know what to do."

I snatch the file right out of Philza's hands and look at the address. I run back to the elevator and forcefully push the buttons. I can't waste time when my love's life is on the line.

"Are you sure you can do this all by yourself?"

Karl questions.

"I'll be fine."

I confirm while slipping on a black mask.

Karl let's out a sigh and hugs me.

"Find the Prince and tell us where to come get you. We'll be waiting for your signal at the chopper."

"I'll make them pay."

I walk into the building and shoot all the guards in one blink. I hold my earpiece and notify the rest of the spies.

"I'm in."

I pull out a small phone and hack my way into the buildings security and gaze at all the information and stats displayed on the screen. I speak into my earpiece again.

"He's on the 42nd floor. Prepare for extraction."

"Copy"

Karl says back.

I walk through the endless staircases and shoot another person I meet on the way. Blood and guts splatter everywhere. I search the body and pick up a keycard. 'Easy.'

When I reach the 42nd floor I find many more guards and slaughter then within a second. They were guarding a door that conveniently had a place where you're supposed to swipe a card. I swipe it and a red light illuminates my face as the door opens and reveals a new room.

In the room there's a bunch of guards and a blonde boy tied up in a chair. From what I assume that boy tied up is Dream. I shoot all the men down in an instant and run up to Dream.

I caress his face lovingly. Dream looks shocked. I smile from underneath my mask.

"Hello my highness."
