A week later...
Some days I wish my parents were in my life. Other days I'm happy they're not . Today was one of those days where I'm happy they're not.
I told them about the date I had with Hades and Adrian hoping they would be supportive but all I got was a "Lely, are you sure there isn't a nice young man who caught your eye?"
I blew up on them but I felt bad afterwards. I know I shouldn't have felt bad but I did. I hate being mean to others but in this situation they deserved it.
"Dude, just breathe. Your parents are pieces of shit and they deserved it. They should be lucky I wasn't around during the phone call."
"I know, Trin, but they only wants what's best for me."
"No. What they want is my foot up their ass and they have one more time before it actually happens."
Trinity is a really good friend. Yes, she's hella aggressive but she means well. I've only known her a few weeks but in that short amount of time she's become one of my closest friends and I didn't have many of those growing up.
"I guess you're right," I sighed, "Now if you excuse me I have a date I need to get ready for."

Ahh yes. Sibling love. Honestly though as cliché as it sounds Athena is literally my best friend. I wanted to be like her growing up. That obviously changed because I've convinced myself she wants to be like me now.

I know my parents support me and all that I do but they didn't even text or call me to wish me luck. This is my first date in years so some encouraging words from my parents would really help.
They're probably still in shock about the fact that they're about to be grandparents. Go Athena!
Time skip to the middle-ish end of the date bc I'm tired and lazy 😜
"Okay so let me get this straight," I laughed, "you expect me to believe you helped your mother deliver your little brother?"
"Yep," Adrian nodded with a smirk.
Lely and I shared an entertained glance and continued to laugh.
"You were like twelve." Lely gasped.
"I should've been a doctor for real."
"Well let's start heading back, yeah? Hades, your sisters on her way, right?"
Both girls turned their heads to me.
"Yeah," I nodded, "Make sure you drive slow so she has to wait."
When the server came with the bill there was a small argument about who was paying. Because it was Lely's idea she wanted to pay but Adrian was like "no, let me do it." But then I wanted to pay because Adrian payed for the arcade.
In the end we agreed Lely could do it and next time I would. Next time meaning before we left I asked them on another date.
Thankfully they both said yes. I probably would have ran away if they said no.
Once we got back to the house Elodie and Trinity were cuddling on the couch watching princess and the frog. They remind me of me and my sister. Even though they aren't related in any way.
"Oh em gee you're back!" Elodie gasped happily.
"Finally. Elodie was starting to give me a headache." Trinity smiled.
We ended up finishing their movie when Athena came.
When she knocked I quickly got up not wanting anyone to see her before I did.
"You took too long." I frowned.
"There's this little thing called traffic. It makes it harder for you to get places on time." She glared.
I've missed her so much.
"Come in so you can meet everyone and then leave."
I opened the door wider for her and she happily came in. She looked around for a second before she walked into the living room where everyone was sitting.
"Goddamn, Hades, you didn't tell me your sister was hot."
"Elodie, please." Trinity sighed.
"Thank you." Athena smiled.
"Okay," I began, "Guys, meetAthena. Athena, meet Lely, Trinity, Adrian, and Elodie." I said as I pointed to each girl.
"They are really pretty." Athena whispered to me, though she's never been a good whisperer.
"Thanks." Lely blushed.
"Way to go, Thee."
"Well it was nice meeting you all but I have o head back home. Hades, make sure you text mom and tell her I gave you to box."
My sister kissed my cheek and then left the house. Today was a success? I think.
