All I could see was red.
I was fuming.
Adrian had left to go get Hades so she didn't have to walk home by herself. I found it a little off that Adrian returned by herself. Once she came in her eyes were glossy; you could tell she's been crying.
Two minutes later Hades came in with guilt written all over her face.
"What the hell happened?" I asked as I jumped off the couch to Adrian.
"She wouldn't give me time to explain! She walked past at the wrong time and saw something she didn't like. I promise I didn't like it."
"Elaborate."
"I- just...just give me a second..." Hades quickly ran up the stairs.
Her eyes were glossy too and her words were messed up due to her sounding like she was on her way to crying as well.
Once again; what the hell happened
I gave Hades some time to get herself to together so I went to Adrian's room to check on her. Whatever she saw really messed her up.
"Adrian? It's me, Lely."
"Cool."
I hate one word responses. It annoys the hell out of me you have a shit ton of sentences engraved in your mind and all you can do is give me one singular word? Absolutely not.
"You know I hate that," I frowned, "What happened?"
"I'm gonna let Hades explain it to you in case I fuck up the story. I don't want to assume but I saw what I saw."
Well that was no help.
"Alright who made my main manz Hades cry?" Trinity shouted as she appeared in Adrian's doorway.
"I'm trying to figure out the same thing...I mean as you can see 'your main manz Adrian' is crying to." I motioned to the girl who placed her head in my lap.
"Y'all are too emotional," Trinity groaned, "But anyways Hades said she's ready to talk."
I practically had to drag Adrian across the hall but when we got to Hades' room her eyes were red and puffy. She obviously had been crying.
Adrian sat on the floor and pulled me down with her so she could her head in my lap. She likes doing that. I'm not sure why.
"Okay um...I would first like to apologize. I can see that this has fucked with the both of you. Secondly, I'm gonna explain what happened. There's this boy in my class and I was tired as hell so I took a nap and asked him to send me the notes at the end of class. After class ended I gave him my number and left it alone. While I was waiting for Adrian he came up to me and said I left a paper. He gave me said paper and then said he wanted to give me something else. That's when he kissed me...I didn't kiss him back and briefly told him I was with someone. He apologized and ran away. Im not sure when you appeared, Adri but I promise that was all his doings. I wouldn't do that to you- you either, Lely."
I was speechless. For a few reasons but the fact that she did that all in one breath amazes me. I could never.
"Fuck, im so sorry. I just saw you too kissing and it upset me." Adrian mumbled.
"Wait. Were you crying out of jealousy? I'm- she's literally sitting in front of her you can kiss her right now." My mouth moved quicker than my brain causing that sentence to leave my mouth.
But anyways that's what she did. Adrian got up from my lap and marched over to Hades. She cupped her cheeks and kissed her. It definitely turned me on but that's another story for another time.
"Damn..." I whispered.
"Do I get one too or..."
And then Adrian walked back over to me and pecked my lips before laying back in my lap. I'm not gonna be able to feel my legs at some point.
"Bro, move," Hades said, "It's my turn."
"Your turn for what- oh nah how are you gonna try to lay in my lap but you didn't even kiss me-"
Hades shut me up with a kiss and I was more than happy.
