When I told my parents I was gay I assumed I was going to get two reactions. My dad being an enormous homophobe and my mom being overly supportive.

Instead I got two of the same reactions. Both parents were extremely supportive. I just think they're happy I had no chance of getting pregnant.

Either way I appreciated the support because I know a lot of homosexual teens don't get a positive reaction from their family.

When I came out as polyamorous that was a completely different reaction. Yes, my family was supportive but they were highly confused.

I explained it the best way I could and moved on. I love my family and I thank them for always being there for me when bisexual girls cheated on me with guys.

Like girl if you didn't want to be with a girl just say that don't put me through hell.

But anyways I say this because now I have a new family and I don't know how they're going to react.

I hope it's positive because if not this is going to be an awkward ass four years. I hate awkwardness.

"I have an announcement to make."

"I just want to watch Tv and here you are trying to make random ass announcements." Trinity sighed.

"Trinity, be nice," Lely scolded, "what's up, Adrian?"

"I'm...gay...and polyamorous."

Saying out loud definitely lifted a weight off my shoulders but it caused a wave of anxiety to flow through me.

"Same." Hades smiled.

"Same here," Elodie shrugged, "minus the polyamorous part. I hate sharing."

"Same...Adrian, you aren't that special."

This was the first time I've heard Lely be sassy like that. It did something to me, in a good way. And on top of that it lets me know I have a chance with Lely. Or Hades. Or both.

Our eyes then shifted over to Trinity who began to panic for a quick second.

"I'm strictly dickly over here y'all have fun playing bumper cars though." She sarcastically blew the four of us a kiss.

"Hell is so hot, Trin."

"Please, they have a vip section just for y'all."

Cool. This is cool.

Now I just needed to get the other two alone.

But instead of actually saying it I'm gonna use my brain because I, Adrian Carlise Armstrong, am the smartest woman in the world.

Well that went well. I don't know why I was nervous in the first place but that's okay because the hard part was over.

I held onto my phone and walked to Lely's room. When I got there Hades was laying in Lely's lap scrolling through her phone.

Some type of emotion ran through me. It wasn't jealousy but it was something I couldn't pin point.

"Can I braid your hair?"

"Can I cross the threshold goddamn."

I allowed Hades to braid my hair nonetheless. She ended up putting it in two braids and then went back to Lely's lap.

"What if I wanted to be in Lely's lap?"

Hades rolled her eyes but got up. I happily went to where she was just sitting and a few seconds later she was in my lap.

This was an amazing feeling. Being in their presence really does something to me.

Am I moving too fast? I've been known to get crushes easily but I don't want to freak them out. I just met them.
