Hamlet stared into the darkness of his room for a moment. He could have sworn he had heard something. After a moment in silence he relaxed, tossing his coat onto his bed fumbling for a match to light his room. Once settled he stretched, sighing with a certain satisfaction. They were all right where he wanted them to be. They all thought he was crazy. Thought him so lovestruck for Ophelia. Something crunched under his foot and he looked down to see a few scattered pieces of uncooked pasta along with his journal. Hamlet grinned widely. Someone had found his decoy journal, the cook by the looks of it. The one he had meant for them all to find. The one with his true feelings was still safely tucked away under his bed, the one which told of his fathers visitation. Of his plot for Claudius. And of his secret love for Horatio.
