Chapter 4 Face-Off

Pete POV

I had a three days off. After recovering at home, I started getting ready for my next heat in two weeks. Despite the fact that I have an omega twin named Oak, the changes that are occurring to me now are not easy. I took all of his available suppressant left in case of emergency.

I'm listening to my favorite musician, DPR Love, as I was driving. I have a lot of lessons to catch up on, so I intend to go to school today. When I arrived at school, I pulled into the parking area, grabbed my bag, and was just about to exit my car when I noticed Vegas riding his motorcycle.

He is dressed in black leather jacket, black pants and a Converse shoes, just his typical look. Simple but he looks really attractive. When he was young, he was fat though.

I ignored him as I exited my car. I don't want to think back on my mistake, especially since my situation has changed and my worst enemy now is my own emotions.

He called me out of the blue as I was exiting the parking lot.

"Pete, don't act like you didn't see me. You still have things you won't admit to me," says Vegas.

He removed his helmet and headed in my direction. I had no expression looking at him.

"Is there something I need to explain to you?" -- I ask.

"You still haven't answered my question about why Oak left for America. What is the reason? Is he with someone else? Answer me!" He held me by my shoulder.

I could see in his eyes that he was hurt by Oak's departure. But it was Oak's decision not to inform Vegas of his condition. Maybe he is afraid that Vegas will leave him because he is infertile.

"I'm not in a position to tell you the reason. It's better for Oak to tell you himself." I was about to leave when he grabbed my shoulder again and pushed me against a wall.

He seized me by the neck and choked me, saying, "Why, are you hiding something from me? You know I don't like it when someone is fooling me."

I had difficulty breathing since he had his hand pressing against my neck.

He even lifted me up while he choked me, saying, "Even if you're twins with Oak, Pete. I would never think twice about doing you harm when I know you two are fooling me."

I feel my head getting hot and gradually dizzy.

"L-let go of me, I'm h-urting, Ve-ga-s." I said

I dropped my backpack and collapsed to the floor in agony as he yanked me free by force. Additionally, my bag's contents were spread around the floor because I hadn't properly closed it earlier during the rush. I was still holding my neck and panting. I'm so lightheaded I can't even speak.

I was surprised when Vegas waved something in front of me. My heat suppressants. He held it and looked at me intently. He's also smirking so I don't know what the hell he's thinking about. He looks like a predator looking at his prey right now. God, how I badly want to punch that smirk off of his face.

" Heat suppressants, huh? Is this your girlfriend's? Or..... is it yours?" --I badly want to punch his smirky face right now.

" None of your business."

He swiftly reclaimed my heat-suppressants when I attempted to take them from him. He sat in front of me, level with my face. He approached me so closely that I could smell his breath. He appeared to be reading something I couldn't understand as he peered directly into my eyes. He then turned to stare at my lips.

He started to continue, "You're a beta aren't you? then why are you shaking now like an omega in heat? And your smell.-," but I cut him off before he could finish because I swiftly grabbed the medication and spun around to go.

He shouldn't know what happened because it was a mistake that shouldn't be brought up anymore. He shouldn't even know I'm an omega because Vegas is a dangerous man.

But I'm more worried that I won't be able to control myself from stealing you from Oak, especially because I have a good reason to want you to be mine once more.

Time skipped....

3:00 pm. P.E time. We all gathered at the basketball court. We just sat on a bench while Porsche, Pol, and Arm talked loudly. We are waiting for the class that will be with us in our P.E today.

On the other hand, I could feel Tankhun's constant gaze on me. After three days, I still haven't been able to explain to him everything that happened to me. He didn't ask me but I knew he was dying to ask me.

Of all my friends, Tankhun is the closest to me that he even knows the smell of my fart, that's why he's sulking with me now because I'm keeping a secret from him. I just looked back at him and smiled as if I didn't know what he wanted. He just rolled his eyes at me and then started talking to Porsche.

Sorry Tankhun, I'll tell you when I'm ready. Because having sex with your cousin and my twin's boyfriend is not something you can imagine.

When the engineering students arrived, the basketball court was suddenly alive. When they spotted the well-liked engineering males Vegas, Kinn, Kim, and Time, the girls couldn't stop squealing. I initially ignored it when Vegas and I gazed at each other.

Kinn walked up to Porsche and gave him a forehead kiss.

Time, on the other hand, gave Tay a cheek kiss.

" Ahhwww!! Why didn't anyone tell us that today's P.E is only for couples?" Arm scoffed.

"If only you were to answer me now then you'll have someone to flirt with, too." - answered Pol.

Arm hit him. "Are you in a hurry? Then I'll have more suitors that I can answer, the ones who are not in a hurry."- Arm.

Pol hugged him by the hand. "I'm just kidding, My loves. Of course I'll wait for you even if it takes a 100 years." and everyone who heard it couldn't paint their faces because of the cornyness of that line by Pol while Arm's cheeks were red.

Arm is an omega, while Pol, although not obvious, is an Alpha.

Our P.E teacher called us to join the two groups. We have basketball for our P.E today and the two classes will be together.

Our teacher told us that we will join another class in P.E today, but I didn't think that the engineering students would join us.

I feel Vegas looking at me but I avoided it. I don't want him to notice something different about me.

"Alright! Everyone I call will be the first to play. The first team, the yellow team. It will be led by Pete. His group includes Porsche, Tankhun, Arm, and Tay."-- Teacher Chan. I'm not surprised that I was the captain because I used to be a basketball player in school.

"The second team, the red team. It will be led by Vegas.--" I suddenly looked in the direction of Vegas. He smirked while looking at me intently.

Vegas is also known to be a good basketball player because he is the ace of their team. But the way he play is not good and everyone he encounters is injured because of his tactics.

"He will be with Kinn, Kim, Time, and Pol. We will give you 10 minutes to prepare. When you hear the whistle, go to the center. Is it all clear?" -- Teacher Chan.

We didn't do anything because Teacher Chan was strict and almost all students were afraid to oppose him.

"Sir, yes sir!" we all shouted and went to our respective groups.

I don't know what's going through Vegas' mind but I'm sure it's not good because of his actions.

Vegas, if anything bad happens to my friends, I'll fucking kill you.
